Compass of Conscience Consciousness doesn't always keep you from doing wrong,

But it does keep you from enjoying it.

Our conscience is essentially that aspect of our consciousness,

Our self,

Which innately knows what is true.

It is the heart of the heart of our being.

It is not a place or a thing,

More of a vibration.

Think of a tuning fork.

No matter what position in which you hold the fork,

Once the note is sounded,

It will continue to sound at that tone.

Our conscience is similar,

But obviously quite invisible,

Quite internal,

Quite inaudible to physical ears,

But very audible to the inner ear of our consciousness,

Our self.

Our conscience sounds a note.

It emits a vibration,

Which is the true original vibration of our being,

Of the self.

It is a note that never changes tone.

It can never stop sounding.

It never stops emitting.

However,

We may lose our ability to hear it,

Feel it,

Sense it,

And be guided by it.

Reestablish your sensitivity to the compass of your conscience,

To the note of its sound,

To the vibration it emits,

The original vibration of our being,

Of the self.

Thank you.

I loved this! My conscience & my God are unseen, but I can clearly hear them if I don’t block them. Be still & know that I am God. Thank you Jay. This has been an awesome series. πŸ™ Namaste.

Oooh, your conscience might not stop you from doing wrong but it does stop you from enjoying it. And like a tuning fork the tone never changes. So true! A very interesting meditation Jay.

Thank you very much. I listened at it twice. I have two questions: How do I reestablish that sensitivity? And how to be sure is that you’re listening? Alicia :)
