Namaste,
Dear one.
This is J Chodakam.
And this session is about deep healing.
Sometimes we carry our wounds for our entire lives without being healed.
What you may not realize is that those wounds are shaping every choice you make at every step you take.
Healing requires space.
When we can't find that space in time,
When we are waiting for the weekend or that vacation,
We fall sick.
Like our external space,
Our internal space can become crowded with stuff that might impede our ability to move around and do things efficiently.
The fact is,
Space is ever-present and it's everywhere.
Declutter some outdated thoughts and patterns right now and replace them with,
I have the space to heal.
I have the capacity to heal at this very moment.
Healing does not mean that the hurt never happened.
It means that the hurt no longer controls your life.
For the next 10 minutes or so,
Set aside all distractions because there's nowhere more important to be and nothing more important to do.
This is your time to begin the healing.
So make sure you will not be interrupted by anyone or anything.
Get very comfortable.
Become relaxed,
Yet alert.
Find that posture that suits best for you,
Whether you're seated on a chair,
Cross-legged on the floor or even lying down.
Rest your arms,
Unclench the jaw,
Relax the face,
Drop the shoulders,
Soften the belly and let your entire body completely rest.
Now,
If you haven't already done so,
Gently go ahead and downshift your gaze or close your eyes as you bring your attention to your breath.
Don't do anything special with your breath.
Just observe.
Now visualize a beautiful light shining above your body.
This source of divine light unconditionally radiates healing energy and that healing energy is coming down upon you like a cascade,
A waterfall.
Now as this light shines down upon you,
Visualize this energy entering into your body through the crown of your head.
This light makes its way down into your head from your crown,
Making its way all the way through to the neck,
Into your chest region.
This light fills and surrounds your heart,
Healing it,
Soothing it,
Comforting it,
Energizing it,
Making its way into your lungs,
To your kidneys,
The liver,
Into your stomach and through your intestines all the way down to your pelvic floor.
This light fills and surrounds your groin area as it makes its way down through your legs,
Through the thighs,
Into your knees,
Through the shins,
The calves,
Into the ankles,
The feet and the toes.
Now visualize this healing energy going down from your shoulders through your arms,
Starting with the upper arms,
Making its way to the elbows,
Through the forearms,
Through the wrists,
Palms and fingers.
At this point your entire body space is filled with this healing energy.
Now visualize your emotional body,
Which is your subtle body that carries these wounds of past hurts.
Let this healing light embrace your emotional body,
Providing it with just the nourishment,
Just the love or whatever it is that is seeking to release the hurts and the pain from the past.
H E A L To heal is H to honor what had happened,
E to inquire what elements of that past incident trigger feelings even today.
A to allow you to take the lessons but let go of the hurt,
Let go of those emotions that no longer serve you and L to love yourself for who you are and what you have become.
Now drop this practice and savor the stillness of this present moment.
Now please bring your palms together in prayer position at your heart center and when you're ready I invite you to rub them briskly,
Kindling the prana.
And go ahead and cup your eyes,
Blessing yourself,
I have the space to heal,
I have the capacity to heal,
I am light.
You can go ahead and drop your arms.
Neuroscience has proof now that if you do this practice for 8 weeks,
You will see a significant shift in your brain and in your body.
I thank you for joining me in this practice today,
This is J Chodakam wishing you a blessed day.
Namaste.
