Welcome to the Surrender to Service Meditation.
Find a nice comfortable seat.
Your legs can be folded,
Cross,
Straight out,
However you like.
And as you begin to settle in,
Begin to close your eyes.
And here you can get out all the fidgets,
So moving your body maybe side to side,
Bending your neck or head side to side or head circles.
Just getting out all the kinks from your body that you can become very relaxed.
And as soon as you get out all those kinks and begin to settle in,
Find some stillness.
And now bring your awareness to your breath.
And just notice.
Notice how your breathing,
Notice your inhales,
Your exhales.
Notice if it's shallow or deep.
And this may be the first time you notice your breath today.
And that's okay.
And now take a nice easy inhale through your nose.
Easy exhale out the mouth.
Easy inhale through your nose.
Easy exhale out the mouth.
One more time.
Exhale out the mouth.
Look one more time,
Breathing in.
And out.
And returning to your normal breath,
Nice and easy,
Nice and light.
So no need to judge what's going on with your breathing or your breath,
You're just noticing your breath here and how it feels.
So essentially surrendering to your own breath.
Giving yourself allowance and appreciation for your breath.
So gratitude for your breathing.
And now bring your awareness to your body.
So maybe starting at your feet,
Working your way up to your head and just notice your body,
Notice how it feels.
Again,
No need to judge any right or wrong or negative or positive,
But you're just noticing how your body feels in this position.
Notice your legs,
Your feet,
Your arms,
Your legs,
Your hands.
There's your belly,
Your torso,
Your chest,
Your head,
Your face,
Your jaw,
Your eyes.
And you're just noticing,
Allow everything to just relax.
And give your body that permission to surrender.
So essentially maybe let go of any distress.
And now bring your awareness to your thoughts or your mind.
And give yourself permission to think.
So allow your mind to go wherever.
If you want to think about the past,
Think about the past,
The future,
Whatever you like.
So surrendering to your thoughts and your mind,
Bringing some ease,
Releasing the pressure.
And know where your thick,
Your tight.
