Hi,
This is Jason McGrath,
Delivering a highly practical and reflective technique to bring the body into alignment and ground your nervous system.
The nervous system is like the wiring and electricity of the human body.
When we're caught in a stress response,
When things feel like they're arcing or shorting,
The most powerful gift you can offer yourself is intentional time and space.
Just a few precious moments to slow down,
Ground and return to balance and the truth of the moment.
Take a breath in through your nose,
Into your belly,
Into your chest and breathe out through your open mouth with a soft,
Open sigh.
Again in through the nose,
Drawing it deep into your belly,
Then your chest,
And exhale fully through the mouth,
Letting it all out.
One last time,
A deep breath in,
Belly,
Chest and a wide open release through the mouth.
Using the inbuilt mechanics of the body to bring you back from the crude stress response and let yourself dive deeper into how you can actively and practically bring yourself into greater alignment.
Today we are going to ask of your body some simple truths.
Body,
How could I serve you today to bring you into balance?
If your body held the answers and you have the ability to feel them and hear them,
What would it say?
Do I need to go for a walk?
Do I need to go for a run?
Do I need to get my heart rate up?
Do I need to rest?
Do I need to book that appointment?
Is there a conversation that I've been putting off for a long time and the thing that would bring my body,
My vessel,
My experience into balance is sharing those words?
Do I need to speak to someone about becoming better with handling money or creating wealth,
Creating abundance on all levels?
Do I need to stop drinking so much coffee or caffeine?
Are there other things I'm drinking or consuming that are sending my body and brain into orbit when my energy would benefit from being steady,
Calm and two feet planted on the ground?
Body,
Today please tell me what I can do to bring me back into balance.
I want you to go a little deeper into the body now,
Past the hunger,
Thirst,
Past the emotions or physical pain into the finer senses,
The layer of you that is so luminous,
Brilliantly light filled,
It is like unconditional love personified.
Life force in action,
In movement,
In dance and play,
Feel into the building blocks of life and light that is you.
Breathe here for a moment,
Soaking up your truth beneath the superficial,
May all decisions,
All actions,
All alignments,
All conversations,
Let them flow from this space today.
