We're back we're back.
Of Notice how the body expands and contracts in conjunction with the breath.

Notice how the body expands and contracts in conjunction with the breath.
Just letting the mind settle on its own in the here and now.
Just letting the mind settle on its own in the here and now.
When it starts,
Just notice it and let it settle by itself again.
Just noticing the natural movement of the body.
Just noticing the natural movement of the body.
One can get to misunderstanding that in order to meditate you have to sit still and your surroundings have to be calm.
This is not so.
We can be aware in any posture and in any activity.
Sure,
Some situations are more conducive to mindfulness than others,
But it doesn't have to be perfect.
Practicing with movement can make it easier to bring meditative awareness over in daily life.
Start by just feeling the natural movements connected with breathing.
Letting the body do its thing.
You may experiment with moving your hands together with your breath.
For example,
By holding your hands over your heart or belly region.
And on the in-breath,
Opening up as if you're about to hug someone.
And on the out-breath,
Bringing them back to the heart or belly.
Or else you can try with hands in the lap.
You can let them rise,
Breathing in.
And slowly sink back down,
Breathing out.
If you want a subtle variant in case you don't want to look like a lunatic on the bus or something.
You can gently open and close your fist with each breath.
Breathing in,
Opening up.
Breathing out,
Bringing it back together.
Experiment for yourself,
Letting your body find a way that feels good and natural.
Just being aware.
Breathing in.
Breathing out.
Breathing out.
Breathing out.
Breathing out.
Breathing out.
Breathing in.
Opening.
Opening.
Breathing out,
Releasing,
Settling.
Opening up.
Listening and feeling for whatever is happening in the moment.
Just letting the body do its thing.
Just letting it go.
Just letting it go.
Just letting it go.
Just letting it go.
Just letting it go.
Allowing the body to do its thing,
Allowing the mind to do its thing.
And allowing awareness to be aware.
Being like a beautiful simile of Ajahn Chah,
Being like still flowing water.
Just letting it go.
We try many ways to be awake,
But our society still keeps us forgetful.
Our meditation is to help us remember.

But our society still keeps us forgetful.
