Hello my friends and welcome.

Welcome to this meditation.

This is about interrupting your negative thoughts and learning how to redirect them.

First and foremost,

I just want to say thank you for being here.

Thank you for meditating with me.

This is a quick one that you can do wherever or whenever throughout your day.

Now we're simply going to start off by taking a few deep breaths in,

In through your nose and out through your mouth.

Inhale and exhale.

Let it all out.

Try and shake off whatever's happened up until this point today.

Just be here and now and focus on my voice and the words I'm about to say.

Now it's not easy to have invasive or negative thoughts.

Unfortunately it does happen to a lot of us.

So just remember you're not alone and you are in the right spot.

I'm going to take you through a few steps that will help redirect these thoughts.

And step one is simply to notice and have awareness of your thoughts.

Notice when you are thinking negatively or having fearful thinking and acknowledge them without judging yourself.

And step two is to make a conscious choice to move your attention and your thoughts in a different direction.

And this is an important one so I'm going to repeat that.

Step two is to make a conscious choice to move your attention and your thoughts in a different direction.

Step three is to follow through with that choice and move your attention.

Step four,

Move your conscious thoughts into gratitude.

Start to list what you are grateful for.

And again I'll repeat that one as well.

Step four is to move your conscious thoughts into gratitude.

Start to list what you are grateful for.

Now step five is to repeat this whenever you are having these negative thoughts.

Remember to keep breathing in through your nose and out through your mouth.

When we consciously retrain our brain to acknowledge and then redirect these negative thoughts,

We are slowly but surely retraining our subconscious mind.

Now this will make these thoughts fewer and far between.

It will be easier for us to navigate them and redirect them the more we practice.

You can take these five steps with you throughout your day,

At nighttime,

If you're having any bad thoughts.

In the morning,

It's a good way to start your day off.

Whenever you need to,

Just simply follow these five steps.

Now I want to say thank you so much for meditating with me.

I am truly grateful for you and your presence and that you are here.

I hope you know how loved you are and how important you are.

And I hope you have a beautiful day.
