Just for a few minutes,

Find a quiet spot.

Find a place where you can rest,

Restore,

And feel at ease.

Close your eyes if you want to.

And acknowledge all that has brought you to this moment.

Allow your senses to be wide open,

Ticking in sound and light.

The feel of air on your skin,

Of your clothing against your body.

During I Rest,

Every experience is a messenger,

Inviting you to welcome and be with thoughts,

Emotions,

And yourself as the one who is experiencing all of these sensations coming and going.

Welcome these messengers with openness and curiosity.

Bring your attention to your heart's deepest desire,

That which you want more than anything else.

Experience your heart's deepest desire as true in this moment.

Just notice how that acts on your body.

Taking just a few moments now to welcome and be with your heart's deepest desire.

Now let your attention move away from your heart's deepest desire and notice how it returns to you in your daily life.

Bring your attention now to your inner resource,

A felt sense of well-being.

That part of you which is never harmed is always whole and is always available to you whenever you need to take a time out to rest,

Restore,

And be at ease.

If it's helpful,

Recall a memory in which you felt seen and heard,

Connected to,

A sense of belonging.

Taking a few moments now to welcome and be with your inner resource.

Thank you for this wonderful and healing Nidra. I’m so pleased it had background music as that’s the only thing that I feel is missing with other iRest Nidra’s πŸ™πŸ™ŒπŸ’•πŸ§šβ€β™€οΈπŸͺ„

I usually prefer meditations without background music. But this was yummy. I do so love the language of iRest yoga nidra. It helps me feel safe and whole. I hope you will make more. Thank you for this one. Edit: this morning the background music was a huge distraction and my thoughts about it interfered with everything else. I feel more at ease with silent background, 11/16/23

Very helpful for coping with the anxiety I often feel after waking up and before getting out of bed. Love the confident delivery and voice, and the frequent invitation to return to my inner resource. Thank you! πŸ™
