Turn your outward focused attention inward.

Rest attention on the lower belly.

Begin to observe the breath.

Take three conscious,

Slow breaths.

Each one slightly longer on the exhalation.

Mentally affirm,

I welcome myself to soften,

To be held,

And to release whatever no longer serves.

Here as we enter the darkest days of the year,

There is a potent unfolding that happens when we soften our edges and open to inquiry for the highest good of my being and for others.

And in this darkness,

What seeds might I plant?

Deep intentions,

Deep desires of the heart sweetly tend to planting in the subconscious of the mind and in the fertile soil of the heart so that when the sun comes to tour,

Listen and allow its message to rise not from the thinking mind but from the depths of the cave within your heart.

Form your intention and make it into a present tense affirmation.

Being on every level.

Another affirmation might be I am a radiant field of light.

Love.

I emanate goodness in every breath.

My very presence yields goodness in the world.

One that resonates most with you.

One of the aforementioned or perhaps one and let the essence of your affirmation soak into every cell of your being.

Trust that it is now part of your embodied eyelids until they are so restful that they naturally close.

And as you do so,

Allow your inner seeing and allow the earth to rise and hold the body.

And as you scan for sounds,

Withhold judgment of whatever the sound might be.

Peel away the meaning and allow the sound.

Notice sensations of the body.

Can you feel the tendons of the feet?

The ankles to the shins.

The femur and tibia.

The hip bones and deep within the cerebral spinal fluid which flows through the spine.

Also held.

And the heart beating its majestic rhythm.

The heart too is held.

Air surrounding and holding.

The muscles around the neck softening.

As you sense now into the head resting and releasing.

And can the facial muscles release even more.

As if the most gentle soothing silk cloth.

Was gently caressed across the facial muscle.

From the tips of the toes to the crown.

And as you breathe in.

And breathe out.

And we will explore a visual.

That represents going into the.

And so you might even imagine going into the depths of a dark cave.

Within the view.

Those seeds that you have planted in the heart beginning perhaps you might.

Even layer in the temperatures.

As you breathe in there's a coolness.

In the dark cave.

And as you exhale out.

Stepping into the radiance of warm sunlight.

Touching the skin continue to visualize this as.

The body begins to relax more deeply.

Within.

Following the cycles.

Of breath might even sense how the breath.

Is.

You might even feel the breath as a radio.

In every cell.

Of your being.

Into an inner sunlight.

To be planted in the heart.

You may be the line.
