This is the Amrit Method of Yoga Nidra, the healing, pranic, energy-based lineage of Yoga Nidra. Because it is energy-based, it is believed to be one of the most transformative methods of Yoga Nidra for healing and awakening. Lie down for this guided practice and allow the words to be received nonmentally and absorbed through every cell of your being. The intention of this practice is to release what no longer serves you and to open to the infinite potential that you are. Thank you!

Welcome to the integrative amrit method of yoga nidra.

Let's begin by laying down onto the back.

You may also sit if this is more comfortable for you.

Cover the body with a blanket.

Use a pillow under the neck and get as comfortable as possible.

Let's begin.

Close your eyes.

And quiet your mind.

Be still.

Let go of all thoughts,

Worry,

And tension.

Give yourself fully to a higher power.

Relax,

Trust,

And let go.

Breathe in fully and exhale with a deep sigh.

And again,

Breathe in fully and exhale with a deep sigh.

And let go even more.

Now bring the following intention into your awareness.

I let go of all that does not serve me.

And I am open to the infinite potential that I am.

Feel this intention with full awareness and feeling.

Now bring your body into awareness.

Recognize your body has been a trusted vehicle,

Creating accomplishments and contributions to the best of its ability.

Now it is time for your body to rest deeply.

During this time,

I will participate wholeheartedly and effortlessly.

I let go of any struggle or effort to make anything happen.

As we enter this next phase of yoga nidra,

Remain as motionless as possible.

If you need to move or make an adjustment,

Do so mindfully and return to stillness as soon as you are able.

Resolve to remain awake,

Staying in touch with the sound of my voice.

Allow your entire body to respond to my words directly and non-mentally.

Allow any disturbances,

External or internal,

To draw you more deeply within.

In yoga nidra,

You enter the subconscious pranic field.

Let your mind melt and merge into the energy body and go beyond the boundaries of body and mind.

We will start with attention and relaxation.

Bring both hands into tight fists and flex the muscles of the arms,

Creating tension in the arms.

Flex and hold the muscles.

Hold.

Even more,

Hold and relax the arms.

Exhale and relax the arms even more.

Now focus on the legs.

Flex all of the muscles from the glutes to the toes,

Quads,

Calves,

Toes.

Squeeze all the muscles of the lower body.

Hold.

Tighten as much as possible.

The legs might lift off the ground.

Hold.

Tighten.

Exhale,

Relax the legs.

Let them flop onto the ground.

Now create tension in the whole body.

Flex the muscles of the arms,

Hands and fists.

Squeeze the abdomen,

The quads,

The calves,

The toes,

Even the face.

Hold every muscle tight.

Feel every muscle engage.

Hold.

Tighten.

Hold.

And exhale,

Relax.

Arms sink to the ground,

Legs to the ground.

Muscles spread in relaxation.

Breathe in.

Exhale,

Let go.

Completely relax.

Again,

Deep belly breath in.

Fill up with air.

Exhale,

Release the weight of the body.

Relax.

Exhale,

Release the weight of the body.

Relax.

One more breath again,

Just like that.

Belly breath in.

Exhale,

Release all tension from the body.

Let it all go.

Relax the weight of the body on the ground.

Settle into stillness.

Feel the weight of the body release.

Mouth.

And let go.

Feel stillness wash over you.

Completely absorbed with the internal sensation.

Now shift from thinking and doing to feeling and being.

Do absolutely nothing from now on.

Simply relax.

And drop into the deepest state of tranquility,

Stillness,

And peace.

Drop into the deepest state of tranquility,

And peace.

Now your consciousness is in direct communion with your energy body.

Rest your awareness on the breath.

Breathing in fully from the top of the lung to the bottom of the lung.

Imagine you are breathing as if filling up a water bottle,

Filling up from the bottom,

The mid,

The top.

And as you exhale,

It's as if you're pouring out a water bottle from the top,

The mid,

The bottom.

Breathing in bottom to top.

Exhale,

Top to bottom.

Continue breathing like this,

Drawing your attention inward,

Following the flow and stream of breath.

Silent awareness of the breath flowing in and out.

Continue following the breath as your body relaxes progressively with each exhale,

Releasing and letting go with each exhale.

Deeper and deeper into relaxation.

Now bring your total undivided attention to the eyebrow center.

Imagine your breath flowing in and out through the eyebrow center,

Pulsing in the color purple.

Breathing into this expanded awareness and draw into the deepest level of silent stillness.

Drop into that silent space where all doing stops.

Let go.

Let go even more.

Enter an effortless state of being.

Follow my guidance as we move our attention through different parts of the body.

Allow your awareness to jump freely from part to part.

No effort.

Just allow the mind to go from part to part.

Bring your undivided attention to the third eye,

The hip,

The hip of the throat,

Right shoulder,

Elbow,

Wrist,

Thumb,

Middle finger,

Ring finger,

Middle finger,

Wrist,

Elbow,

Shoulder,

Hip of the throat,

Left shoulder,

Elbow,

Wrist,

Thumb,

Index finger,

Middle finger,

Ring finger,

Little finger,

Wrist,

Elbow,

Shoulder,

Hip of the throat,

Middle of the chest,

Right nipple,

Middle of the chest,

Left nipple,

Middle of the chest,

Navel point,

Middle of the pubic bone,

Right hip,

Knee,

Ankle,

Big toe,

Second toe,

Third toe,

Fourth toe,

Fifth toe,

Ankle,

Knee,

Hip,

Middle of the pubic bone,

Left hip,

Knee,

Ankle,

Big toe,

Second toe,

Third toe,

Fourth toe,

Fifth toe,

Ankle,

Knee,

Hip,

Middle of the pubic bone,

Navel,

Middle of the chest,

Hip of the throat,

And back to the third eye.

Resting in this vastness,

Allow whatever comes into your field of awareness to be present without comment or judgment.

Witness it as it floats by like clouds in the sky.

In this deep state of awareness,

Allow the following experiences and their associations to rise and dissolve,

Simply allowing all experiences to move through without preference,

Labels or judgment.

By remaining witness,

You are releasing your identification with pre-programmed thoughts and feelings.

Feel heaviness.

Feel heaviness.

Now feel its opposite.

Lightness.

Feel lightness.

Now feel cold.

Feel coldness.

Like a cold winter day.

Now feel warm.

Like warmth from the sun on a hot summer day.

Maintain detached awareness as if observing a movie.

Hopeless.

Powerful.

Sadness.

Happiness.

Small.

Large.

Now allow all the visualizations to fade as you bring your awareness and undivided attention back to the third eye.

Maintaining your awareness in the center between the eyebrows and drop into the deepest level of relaxation.

Here there remains nothing to do or achieve.

You have entered the domain of grace.

Over all fear,

Apprehension and anxiety about all that you want to change,

Control and manage.

Let go of all doing.

Replace it with trust and faith in a higher power.

Feel yourself as time transcendent present.

Right now.

Now bring your intention into your awareness.

Release all that does not serve.

I am open to the infinite potential that I am.

Release all that does not serve.

Here your intention is actualized and fulfilled with effortless ease.

Know that your higher self recognizes,

Honors and accepts your intention.

At this sacred moment,

Your whole being has made a major paradigm shift.

Establish yourself in total trust and faith that remains free from any need to be in control.

Feel totally unburdened and free to move in life with effortless ease.

Feel the presence of your higher self guide,

Protect and bless you.

Feel energy and grace fill you and surround you at all times.

Do not hesitate,

Doubt or dispute it.

Let it come naturally.

Know that you are soul.

You can witness life's experiences and let them pass by.

Right response and right actions will come through you.

With that clarity,

Keep your heart open to all conditions.

Bring your forefinger and thumb together.

Establishing the connection to the inner teacher within.

This will reconnect you with the power of protection and guidance whenever you need it in everyday life.

Now,

Begin to become aware of the rise and fall of the breath.

Slowly feel yourself beginning to rise to the surface of awareness.

Sense the body resting on the floor.

The quality of the air as it touches the skin.

Gradually,

You can move as if you are waking from a restful sleep.

Bend your knees and pull them closer to your chest rock sideways gently.

Take your time.

Do not hurry.

Then just turn onto your right side and curl into a fetal position.

Feel the safety,

Comfort and protection of the womb of existence.

Bring your intention into your awareness again.

Release all that does not serve.

I am open to the infinite potential that I am.

Change nothing.

Every time you find yourself in reaction,

You are empowered to replace it with your intention.

You can use your arms and gradually move to help press you up to a seated position with eyes closed for just a couple more moments.

Staying deep in this deep inner experience.

Regardless of what you consciously recognize that has or has not changed,

Know that something deep within you has shifted to connect you with your intention.

Become aware of your whole body and feel a deep sense of peace and contentment flow over you as you bring attention back to the body.

Noticing how relaxed the body is.

How soft the breath is.

How silent the mind is.

How quiet the heart beat is.

Bring your hands to heart center and be still.

And be grateful.

Know that you can easily enter here again and again.

Bow to your heart center,

Trusting that it always knows the way.

May rise up and gradually open your eyes.

The affirmations are so wonderful in this yoga nidra I will listen to it again despite the tensing and releasing section. I personally find that practice harsh and unnecessary. I would love a recording of this script without that section. Thank you - excellent recording overall.
