Transcript
Find a quiet place for this meditation and do what you can to prevent distractions.
Start by deeply breathing in through the nose and out through the nose.
Rest your attention on the breathing cycle.
It will be your anchor throughout this meditation.
If thoughts arise,
Simply acknowledge them and let them go.
Return to the breath.
Allow each inhalation and exhalation to bring you clear presence and awareness of your senses.
Breathe in relaxation.
Breathe out tension.
Breathe in love.
Breathe out courage.
I'll begin with a quote by Mehmet Murat Ildan.
Clouds in the sky very much resembles the thoughts in our minds.
Both changes perpetually from one second to another.
Allow the silence and lack of activity to relax you.
You don't have to do anything.
You're just here in this meditation simply observing.
If thoughts or emotions come to mind,
Acknowledge them and let them go.
They can only ask for your attention.
You decide where to place your awareness.
The practice here is in simply noticing when distractions arise and then returning to the breath.
Let the breath be light,
Uncomplicated and natural.
It's perfectly okay if you're distracted.
Remind yourself to be the observer.
Practice separating yourself from your body.
Practice separating yourself from your mind.
Now begin to imagine yourself walking down a path in a lush green forest.
You notice how tall the trees are,
How there are animals all around,
And how soft the earth fills.
This path is leading to a gorgeous open meadow,
Which you can see now in the distance.
The sunlight on the meadow contrasts to the cool shadiness of the forest.
The air is warm and clean.
Breathing it in revitalizes you and brings a mental clarity.
You can smell the nutrient-rich forest and feel a subtle breeze on your skin.
As you reach the open meadow and leave the edge of the forest,
The light touches you and you're instantly feeling delighted from the magnificent warmth of the sun.
You stop at the meadow's opening and just stand there receiving the sunlight all over your body.
It deeply relaxes you and gives you joy.
You take a nice,
Deep,
Fresh breath in and let it out.
The first thing you notice in the meadow is how the sky is full of beautiful clouds.
They're expansive and full of texture.
You notice how they're moving slowly but steadily and how they've quickly covered most of the sky,
Blocking most of the direct sunlight.
You find a nice spot in the clearing of the meadow and take a meditative posture.
You feel the ground supporting you and you begin to close your eyes.
The thoughts come and they go.
You breathe in and you breathe out.
You find peace and your awareness gets cluttered again.
It's okay.
It's all part of the cycle.
It's meant to be happening.
Every time you notice your focus has been distracted and returned to the breath,
You're improving.
Breathe in and breathe out.
Now in the relaxing nature,
Sitting silently in your meditative posture,
You can see the clouds from overhead as they expand far into the distance in every direction.
Imagine placing all your thoughts,
Emotions,
Bodily sensations,
Concepts,
All your distractions now into the clouds one by one and just observe them passing by.
After you place a distraction inside the cloud,
Watch it until it's gone.
The cloud may change shape or color or even start to move faster or slower once you place your distraction inside of it.
But don't be fooled or dazzled by this.
It's just your mind.
Simply maintain your steady position and be the observer.
Inhale your distraction being placed into the cloud and exhale your breath moving the cloud as it drifts away.
Inhale your distraction being placed into the cloud and exhale your breath moving the cloud as it drifts away,
Far,
Far away.
The breath is still present as you clear the clouds of your mind.
Practice and repeat this for the next few moments.
Coffee.
Your breath is facilitating this visualization,
This inner movement.
Notice any areas in the body if it's tense.
Making the simple connection with your body,
You can ask yourself,
What do I no longer need?
What can I let go of?
You're clearing away what is no longer of service to you and welcoming in the new.
You ask for more space and simplicity and harmony.
By clearing away the old,
Your inviting creativity,
Mindfulness and flow into your life,
You create open space in your life with your breath.
So breathe how you want to live.
Perhaps you can find a keyword to channel a certain quality while you do it.
Deep,
Gentle,
Full,
Compassionate,
Steady,
Loving,
Consistent.
Whatever keyword you've chosen,
Remain consciously breathing with this quality for the next few moments.
Breathe how you want to live.
And now,
Allow whatever quality you've chosen to be the very force that is coming from the sun.
You begin to notice a break in the clouds and feel the warmth of the sun.
Inhale and imagine the clouds beginning to be broken up.
Exhale and imagine the clouds disappearing one by one from the sky.
The sunlight is softly and powerfully touching your skin and the nature around you.
Let that virtuous quality you chose to accompany the rays of light that are breaking through the clouds now.
The light and its warmth are penetrating and dissolving all the clouds in the sky now.
Inhale,
Penetrating the clouds.
Exhale,
Watching the clouds dissolve.
Inhale,
Penetrating the clouds.
Exhale,
Watching the clouds dissolve.
Inhale,
Penetrating the clouds.
Exhale,
Watching the clouds dissolve.
Inhale,
Penetrating and breaking up the clouds.
Exhale,
Watching the clouds dissolve.
Inhale,
Penetrating and breaking through the clouds.
Exhale,
Watching the clouds dissolve.
Inhale,
Penetrating.
Exhale,
Dissolving.
Inhale,
Penetrating.
Exhale,
Dissolving.
Inhale,
Penetrating.
Exhale,
Dissolving.
Inhale,
Penetrating.
Exhale,
Dissolving.
Coming back to your simple breath,
Simple inhale and simple exhale,
Begin to notice and observe all that is around you.
The clouds are gone.
The great blue sky is pervasive overhead.
The edge of the forest is still there.
The animals are still there.
That slight breeze is still there.
And the warmth of the sun is everywhere.
And your breath and you,
Your awareness,
Is right here,
Right now.
Taking a few deep,
Full,
Natural breaths.
Taking in that fresh air and inviting in all that new energy.
And just begin to observe how you feel in this very moment.
You can gently open your eyes now.
Gradually coming back to the physical world.
And hopefully you feel a bit more clear now.
Next time you're feeling cluttered or distracted,
Try using this meditation to clear your energy and dissolve all those distractions.
I'd like to end with a quote from Amit Ray,
A compassionate heart radiates rays of beauty that removes the clouds of million hearts.
Namaste.

I love every Stressfit meditation Iβve done, and this one is very helpful as well. Unfortunately, I found the repetition toward the end distracting, rather than helpful-would have preferred a bit of space to practice. But overall a great meditation as always.
