EFT, or Emotional Freedom Techniques, is a simple way to calm your mind and body while releasing emotional tension. In this session, we’ll move through three tapping rounds: Notice what’s showing up. Shifting into the space of possibilities. Integrating the possibilities. We’ll tap gently through the nine tapping points: side of the hand, top of the head, inside of the eyebrow, side of the eye, under eye, under nose, above chin, under the collarbone, and under the arm. These points act like “reset” buttons for your mind-body connection to the theme of uncertainty. You don’t need to believe in EFT for it to be effective, just follow along, breathe, and let the words land in your own way if anything comes to mind that feels more true for you.

Hello and welcome to the EFT guided meditation track on the theme of uncertainty.

My name's Amanda Salvara and I will invite you to take this time to relax,

Find yourself a comfortable seat to allow the process of EFT to do what it will need to do for you today.

Uncertainty is a part of life but our relationship with it can shape how we show up in fear,

Resistance or curiosity.

I invite you to reflect on this in where in your life right now are you sitting with uncertainty and as we do a quick body scan notice if it shows up as a thought,

A phrase,

A word,

A sensation or an emotion.

Taking in that deep breath as you scan from the top of your head moving down past your shoulders and breathing out following and tracing what you notice and as you move down past your waist,

Past over your knees and down to the ankles,

To the soles of your feet,

Through to the floor grounding in the moment.

Just making a mental note of where you notice that sensation thought however it shows up for you and the intensity as we begin our setup statement.

Even though I don't know what's going to happen I deeply and completely accept myself.

Even though I'm not sure how I should respond I deeply and completely accept myself anyway.

Even though this is something that feels uneasy I deeply and completely accept myself.

I feel anxious about the unknown.

My mind wants clarity now.

I don't feel safe not having a plan.

I'm scared of making the wrong decision.

What if I get it wrong?

I feel pressure trying to figure it out.

I don't know how to just be with this.

I want to escape this uncertainty.

Taking a breath and letting it land.

Where did you notice it showing up for you?

Making a note on that subjective unit of distress where are you now?

Acknowledging how this has shown up for you in your body we go into our second round of allowing uncertainty and meeting it there with the possibilities.

What if I don't have to solve it right now?

I can soften into the unknown.

I'm learning to trust this process.

I'm safe not to know yet.

I can listen instead of force.

There is wisdom in waiting.

I can stay present with this.

Something is unfolding even now.

Taking that breath in.

Breathing out,

Notice where it lands.

Where are you on that subjective unit of distress or intensity now?

Allowing what wants to arise come up and be processed.

Taking this insight we're now going to tap into reclaiming that trust in possibility.

I trust that clarity will come.

I am open to what wants to emerge.

I don't need to know everything to take the next step.

My life unfolds moment to moment.

I follow inspiration over expectation.

I trust the guidance of my heart.

My uncertainty holds new possibilities.

I am walking with courage and curiosity.

Dropping into the body.

Notice where you are now.

On that subjective unit of distress or intensity.

You can close your eyes and take a moment here to really tune into the wisdom that's shown up for you today.

Thanking that part of you that showed up even though there was resistance.

Even though you may have felt uncertain about how this guided EFT session may have gone for you.

Taking away with reflection how uncertainty might serve as an ally and transformation for you moving forward.
