Okay welcome to today's meditation.
Today we're gonna start off with focusing on just our breath and getting into this place.
Today's meditation is gonna help us realign,
Get back to our center,
Get back to feeling grounded and into ourself.
I find especially around this time of the year now that summer is coming and lots of activities are happening we can kind of get swept away with with things and maybe traveling and other things and it can be it can be a little bit difficult or challenging to get back to your center and get back to your own grounding.
You might be swayed away by ideas and things and thoughts and other other aspects of people that might be in your life and so today we're gonna focus on recentering to yourself.
So let's first start off with just focusing our attention and our awareness to our breath and take a deep inhale in,
Hold that breath,
Take a deep exhale out.
And we're gonna be doing this two more times.
Deep inhale in,
Hold,
Deep exhale out.
Deep inhale in,
Hold,
Deep exhale out.
I want you to just focus on the quality of your breath.
Become aware of the messages that your breath is sending to you.
If you need to take another deep inhale and deep exhale,
Go ahead and do so.
And as you're breathing,
If you feel called to,
Go ahead and close your eyes.
With our eyes closed,
I want you to just get into that comfortable space,
Whatever that looks like for you.
Keep focusing your attention on your breath.
See if there's any messages coming up from your breath.
Now we're gonna practice a breathing exercise of inhaling for five and exhaling for seven.
We're gonna be doing this two times so we can get grounded and recentered into this moment.
So I will guide you and count.
So let's inhale for five,
Four,
Three,
Two,
And one.
And hold that breath and exhale for seven,
Six,
Five,
Four,
Three,
Two,
And one.
And once again,
Inhale for five,
Four,
Three,
Two,
And one.
And hold your breath and exhale for seven,
Six,
Five,
Four,
Three,
Two,
And one.
As we settle inwards,
I want you to bring your awareness to the center of your body.
So it's like right under,
Right in your right under your chest,
Right in top of your stomach.
I want you to just bring your awareness to the energy around there.
Start to become aware of how you're sitting.
If you feel imbalanced,
Maybe to one side or another,
Try to see if you can sit up taller or more towards your center.
If your thoughts are coming up here or your mind is taking you on another journey away from realigning to your center,
Just observe these thoughts that are coming from your mind and let them go and bring your focus back to the center of your body,
To your breath.
And now with the focus in the center,
We're gonna take some deep breaths where you're gonna start to bring the fullness of your breath into that center.
Deep inhale in.
Really feel the expansion in that center of your body,
Your core,
That makes you feel like you're aligned.
Feel it expand.
And with the exhale,
I want you to let go of anything that is not letting you align to your center.
Exhale it all out.
Any thoughts,
Any beliefs.
And once more,
Deep inhale in.
Really expand that center.
Feel that energy go through your whole body.
Exhale out anything that you need to let go of.
Once more,
Inhale in and exhale out.
Beautiful.
And now for the next few minutes,
I want you to take this time to really just focus inwards into your center.
This energy is just passing through your whole body.
You're centered now.
You're aligned.
I want you to focus on what this feels like in your awareness.
Maybe there's some adjustments that you still need to do.
Just note them down.
If so,
Keep breathing.
Keep focusing on your inhales and exhales.
So this is the truth.
This feeling that you're feeling right now,
Being in this moment with your breath.
This is the ultimate truth.
I want you to imagine what it feels like from acting from a place of alignment and from being in your center,
Feeling grounded.
What does that look like in comparison to being misaligned or being out of alignment or acting out of a place that is not you?
With this power of being in alignment,
What are you able to do?
Beautiful.
And we're going to take some final moments of silence with our breath,
Being in this present moment,
Being aligned,
Being centered,
Together.
And if it feels right for you,
I want you to go ahead and just take your hands and place them on the center of your body so you can feel its presence.
This is with you at all times.
This is your internal resource.
You have it whenever you need it.
Your breath is always there for you whenever you need it.
You can come to this place whenever you need it.
I want you to go ahead and bring some gratefulness to yourself for being here today,
For taking the time out for yourself,
Gratefulness for your breath,
Gratefulness for your awareness,
Your consciousness,
And anything else that you feel grateful for today.
I want you to go ahead and just whisper that to yourself.
Let it go into the universe.
Wonderful.
And as we come to the end of today's practice,
We're going to take three deep breaths together to complete today's meditation.
Deep inhale in,
And exhale and let go of everything you don't need.
You're going to be embarking on your day with this beautiful,
Amazing awareness that you now have of what it means to be centered and aligned.
Deep inhale in,
And exhale out.
Deep inhale in,
And exhale out.
And before we open our eyes,
Go ahead and set an intention for today,
For this week.
Anything that feels right for you,
Maybe any messages that came up from your consciousness,
Your awareness.
Beautiful.
I want you to go ahead and wiggle your toes,
Your fingers,
Maybe roll your shoulders,
Just bring your awareness back into this moment,
Into this space.
Listen to any sounds that might be around you.
Slowly just bring your awareness back.
There's no rush.
And when you feel called to,
Go ahead and open your eyes.
