Imagine the smell becoming unbearable.
The disgusting tar dripping off your body and the walls around you.
The thought so disgusting that you want to escape this putrid smell and disgusting place.
And when you cannot bear being in this room any longer,
Your left index finger will raise as you run from the room and slam the door shut,
Locking it behind you.
Leaving that disgusting smoke and tar in the past.
Breathing the air of freedom and a newfound respect for your body,
For yourself.
You will find that from this point on,
You are more strongly aware of the reasons why you are here today to stop smoking.
You are now so aware of the threat that smoking is to your health,

Notice all the details.

Where are you?
What year is it?
What is the weather like?
Who is with you?
What brand of cigarettes do you have?
As you remember smoking that early cigarette,
Get in touch with all the details.
What does it smell like?
Taste like?
Are you coughing?
Are you dizzy?
Sick to your stomach?
This cigarette is the beginning of the story of you and smoking.
This is where it began.
Little did you know that cigarettes would become such a terrible habit in your life.
Little did you know that cigarettes would burn your hard-earned money as it slowly attacked your body.
Now begin to slowly work your way back to the present,
And as you journey through time,
Travel back month by month,
Year by year,
And you begin to notice all the cigarettes that you have smoked in your life piling up.
In the beginning,
There were only a few,
But then dozens and hundreds and more and more appear as they pile up around you.
Think about all the cigarettes that you have smoked.
Get a good look at them.
Now back to the present here with me,
And you begin to realize a few things.
That you were not cheated.
