Transcript

Become aware of your body and the surface that is supporting it.

How does your body feel in this moment?

Tune in and notice your posture.

Do you feel strong,

Supported and comfortable?

Make any adjustments you need to make.

Allow yourself to arrive in this moment.

Allow yourself to arrive in this moment.

Let go of the past and future as much as possible and bring all of your awareness and energy to this moment in time.

Be aware of each breath and allow this to be your anchor to the present moment.

Rest your awareness at your nostrils and observe your breath here.

Can you notice the cooler air with your inhale and the warmer air as you exhale?

Place your awareness at the back of your throat and observe your breath here for a moment.

How does it feel?

Shift your awareness to your lungs as they expand and contract with your breath.

Gently bring your attention to your stomach as it rises and falls with your inhale and exhale.

Now follow and observe the natural rhythm of your breath as much as you can.

Let go of your awareness and observe your breath as it rises and falls with your inhale and exhale.

Take a few moments to rest and be with any stillness that has been cultivated.

Let go of your awareness and observe your breath as it rises and falls with your inhale and exhale.

Let go of your awareness and observe your breath as it rises and falls with your inhale and exhale.

Becoming aware of your body as a whole.

Sense into the parts of your body that are in contact with the surface below.

As you tune into your body,

Invite in any movement that feels right for you.

Perhaps gentle stretching,

Twisting or turning.

When you feel ready,

Open your eyes and know you can connect with your inner stillness whenever you need to.

The more you practice,

The easier it will become.

I am grateful for the guidance to find my inner stillness as I begin my day today. Thank you. (Plus I love the image (photograph) you have for this meditation. Reminds me of where I live in Alaska)β€οΈπŸ™πŸΌπŸ—»
