In this short recording, take a break with me through mindful breathing. Reduce your stress and increase your mindfulness. Research shows that even a 5-minute mindful breathing starts having this effect after only 3 months of practice (Chui, 2021).

You can close your eyes or choose a spot to look at gently.

Breathe out the air,

Tensing abdominal muscles as if you wanted to pump out all the air from your system and follow your breath from your nostrils through your throat into your lungs and belly.

Notice it's natural flow.

Is it fast or slow?

Is it deep or shallow?

Check with yourself.

Does it feel like slowing down?

Does it feel like deepening it?

Does it need to stay exactly as it is?

Take a moment and appreciate your body.

It knows exactly what it needs.

Now connect it to your breath.

Let's take three breaths together.

Scan the rest of your body.

All the tensions.

Is it light or heavy?

Is it pain?

Is it relaxed?

How is it reacting to your breath?

Observe it as if you're watching an ocean's wave coming in and out.

Fully aligned with the universe.

Stay with your breath for as long as you need and thank yourself for giving yourself a break.
