This recording answers the question: how do I feel my emotions. It was designed based on the premise of emotion as a set of adaptive and physiological responses (James 1890) that you have access to, can identify, modify and use to fit your priority needs in different situations.

We're here to regulate emotions for greater integrity.

Emotions are a physiological response,

So whether you're experiencing them now or revisiting a past situation,

Look for a trigger.

A person,

Place,

Word,

Sound,

Smell.

When you got triggered,

What was your first reaction before feeling or thinking?

Oh,

Hmm,

Or maybe just silence.

What kind of bodily sensation could you notice?

Heavy head,

Tight throat,

Pressed chest,

Empty stomach,

Warm heart.

Is that part of the body,

Is there an emotion,

Word,

Sad,

Angry,

Scared,

Happy?

What words,

Sounds,

Images come out from those sensations?

When experiencing that emotion,

What do you feel like doing?

How does it feel to do that?

A moment to appreciate how much your body's holding.

Bring your awareness to what supports your feet,

Bottom or shoulders.

Come back with a sigh,

Unready.
