Transcript

Find a comfortable seated position.

Standing length through your upper body,

Already growing tall from the base of your spine.

Imagine your heart over your hips,

Head over your heart.

Grounding down through your sit bones.

Inhaling the belly rises,

Filling the body with air.

Exhaling the belly lowers,

The navel travels towards the spine.

Inhale belly rises.

Inhale the belly falls.

And place both hands over your heart center.

Bringing your awareness to your heart area.

And then repeat after me.

May I be healthy.

May I be happy.

May I be safe.

May I be peaceful and at ease.

May I be happy.

May I be healthy.

May I be peaceful and at ease.

Noticing any sensations and vibrations in your hands or your heart space.

Starting the day with washing love and kindness to ourselves.

Just know that this is a practice you can return to at any time throughout your day.

Any time when you may struggle with showing yourself compassion and love.

Any time when you feel you may have given so much for others.

Any time when you need to return to your own center.

I hope you've enjoyed this short break of your day or even start of the day to remind you of the deep love foundation that resides within you.

But also reminding you that it's okay to be selfish.

To wish loving kindness to yourself.
