How to Meditate Meditation is as simple as one deep breath.
The key is bringing our attention into the present moment and learning the proper way to breathe.
So the next time you're in your car or at your desk,
In the shower or walking,
You can simply take one moment to stop.
By saying,
I am in the car or I am at my desk,
Take a deep breath in your nose and release an exhale through your mouth.
This is meditation.
Meditation is simply breathing with intention.
So breathe with intention and you have meditated.
You don't need a mat,
You don't need a teacher or any fancy affirmations to develop a true relationship with yourself and your body and nature.
All you need is the desire and your breath.
So let's not over complicate this meditation thing.
Give yourself credit for trying.
Don't set any expectations.
Don't allow yourself to feel like you did it wrong.
There's no such thing as doing it wrong.
You can't mess it up.
Enjoy.
Breathe into whatever comes and stay focused on taking mindful,
Deep breaths.
Whether you meditate for one minute or one hour,
It is worthy and it matters.
Practice meditating once a day and see how wonderful you feel.
Meditation is a practice.
Be patient with yourself.
Be patient with the practice.
Namaste.
