I invite you to find a comfortable seat and close your eyes if you are able to do so,
And start to bring your awareness to your breath.
Breathing in and out of the nose to start,
Taking a moment to turn in and connect with yourself,
Being fully here and connecting to the present moment,
Letting go of anything that is keeping you from being in the present moment,
And each time coming back to the breath.
Now bring your awareness to your forehead and let go of any tension in the forehead,
And bring your awareness to your jaw.
Unclench your jaw and open the mouth slightly to allow the jaw to release.
Now bring your awareness to the middle of the neck,
The throat,
Noticing if there is any tightness or constriction happening in the throat,
And gently letting that go.
Now begin to take a few slow deep breaths.
I invite you to breathe in through the nose and then exhale out of the mouth.
If you feel the need to let out a sigh or any audible noise at any point during this meditation,
Please allow that to happen.
Let each breath be full and deep.
Feel as though the breath is cleansing the throat,
Removing anything that might be stuck there and that isn't serving you.
Now begin to visualize a blue ball of light growing in the throat,
And notice that the vibrancy of this blue light is glowing brighter and brighter as you fine-tune your awareness to this chakra.
Notice the breath entering through the nostrils and traveling down the throat into the lungs,
And then back up the throat and out of the nose,
Releasing any stuck energy with every breath.
Allow this blue light to glow and expand with every breath as you breathe in,
Allowing the breath to energize and strengthen this chakra,
And as you breathe out,
Clearing anything that is no longer serving you.
If you feel called to,
You can bring both of your hands together and bring them to your lips.
Repeat this intention silently to yourself.
May this work bring clear,
Loving,
And thoughtful communication.
May I express myself truthfully and compassionately.
May I easily set boundaries that are aligned with my higher self.
May I seek understanding so that I may be able to listen to understand.
Release your hands down.
Now take a deep breath and inhale,
Filling the lungs,
The belly,
And the chest.
Hold the breath when you're full.
Open the mouth and exhale with a sigh.
Again,
Inhale.
Take a deep breath and then hold it for a moment when you're full.
Open the mouth and make some noise as you sigh it out.
Last time.
On your next inhale,
Take your fullest,
Deepest breath yet.
Hold the breath when you're full.
Open the mouth and exhale,
And let it be your loudest sigh yet.
I invite you to carry the energy of truthfulness,
Kindness,
And authenticity with you throughout the rest of your day.
And when you are ready,
I invite you to gently open your eyes and come back into your present moment.
