Tune your chakras and align your energy with this short yet thorough chakra balancing meditation. We'll work through clearing and aligning each chakra by releasing stuck energy through breath, positive affirmations, and frequency chimes.

Transcript

For this meditation,

I recommend sitting upright in a comfortable position.

Sitting up nice and tall will allow the spine to be vertically aligned,

Allowing the energy to flow up as we work through clearing and balancing each chakra.

I'll play the corresponding frequency through sound bowls that matches each chakra.

So take a moment to get nice and comfortable.

And we'll start by closing the eyes and taking a deep cleansing breath in through the nose and out through the mouth.

Another deep breath in and gently letting that go.

Now bring your awareness to the base of your spine,

Starting at the root chakra.

Feel the base of your spine connected to the surface underneath you,

Feeling supported by the earth.

The element for this chakra just so happens to be earth.

Tap into the feeling of safety and security here on your earthly journey.

Ask yourself,

How can I create safety and stability in my life?

Take a deep breath in,

Allowing the breath to travel all the way down to the base of the spine and slowly exhaling,

Letting that go.

Repeat to yourself.

I am grounded.

I am safe.

I am supported.

Again,

Let's take a deep breath and breathing in knowing all of my needs are met and exhaling letting go of all feelings of fear,

Anger and scarcity.

Now bring your awareness to your sacral chakra,

Located two inches below your belly button.

The element for the sacral chakra is water.

Begin to connect to your sensual self.

Connect to the feeling tone of creativity,

Joy and lightness.

Reflect on the characteristics of water.

Water is always changing,

Fluid and playful.

In what ways can you tap into your creative side?

In what areas of your life can you allow more fluidity?

Take a deep breath in,

Allowing the breath to travel all the way down to your lower belly and slowly exhaling,

Letting that go.

Repeat to yourself.

I am creative.

I attract healthy relationships.

I am expressive.

Again,

Let's take a deep breath in breathing in knowing I can creatively express myself and exhaling letting go of any feelings of guilt,

Shame and stagnancy.

Now move your awareness up to the solar plexus chakra,

The space in your upper abdomen,

Right below the rib cage.

The element for this chakra is fire.

As we rest our awareness on this chakra,

Begin to connect to your inner warrior,

The most confident version of yourself.

Fire represents transformation.

How can you use your stability and creativity to transform your life?

What would the most empowered version of yourself do?

Ask yourself,

How am I activating my potential?

Take a deep breath in,

Allowing the breath to travel to the upper abdomen,

Filling the space with air and slowly exhaling,

Letting that go.

Repeat to yourself.

I am worthy.

I am confident.

I trust myself.

Again,

Let's take a deep breath in breathing in knowing I am powerful and capable and worthy and exhaling letting go of all feelings of self doubt,

Fear and anxiety.

Now place your awareness on your heart chakra in the middle of your chest at heart center.

Place one hand on your heart and breathe deeply into this space filling it with air,

Feel the chest rise and expand.

And then gently exhaling clearing out any old stuck energy.

Heart chakra is the bridge from the lower chakras that govern survival and earthly needs to the higher three chakras that represent our higher states of consciousness.

It's where the physical and the spiritual me.

Begin to tap into the feeling of unconditional love.

Love for yourself.

For others.

And for all beings.

How can I practice unconditional love.

Now take a deep cleansing breath and allowing the breath to fill up your heart space and slowly exhaling,

Letting that go.

Repeat to yourself.

I am grateful.

I give and receive love easily.

I am compassionate.

Again let's take a deep breath in breathing in knowing I am the frequency of unconditional love and exhaling I release all feelings of heartache,

Jealousy and resentment.

Now move your awareness further up to the center of your throat to the throat chakra.

Take a deep breath in.

And then open your mouth inside out.

This chakra is directly connected to the heart,

Because it's the voice of the heart,

And it's how we communicate our feelings and emotions.

Repeat to yourself.

How can I communicate authentically without causing harm.

Before you say something.

Ask yourself.

Is it true.

Is it kind.

Is it necessary.

Repeat to yourself.

I am capable of speaking my truth.

Communicate honestly,

With compassion.

I easily advocate for myself,

And for others.

Now take a deep breath in breathing in,

I easily express my truth with compassion and love,

And exhaling,

I release the fear of being judged.

Now place your awareness in the center of your eyebrows on your third eye chakra.

The element for this chakra is light.

So begin to connect to the feeling of a higher awareness and a sense of inner knowing.

You are waking up.

You are the light that lights up all beings on this planet.

Ask yourself,

Who am I.

Who am I really.

Take a deep breath in breathing into the third eye chakra clearing out any mental clutter and exhale slowly let that go.

Repeat to yourself.

I am intuitive.

I am wise.

I am imaginative.

Take a deep breath in breathing in I intuitively move with discernment and exhaling I release all feelings of confusion caused by any attachment to ego.

Now move your awareness to the top of your head to the crown chakra.

Tap into the awareness of feeling connected to your highest self,

And to every being on the planet.

Know that you are in the world,

But not of the world.

And ask yourself,

What attachments,

Am I holding on to that are keeping me from reaching my full potential.

Take a deep breath in and feel your whole self being filled with breath and light and exhale slowly let that go and repeat to yourself.

I am pure consciousness.

I am whole and complete.

I know that I am never alone.

Now take a deep breath breathing in I know I am perfect whole complete and connected and exhaling I release all feelings of separateness and anything that is blocking me from reaching my fullest potential.

Now take a few moments,

Basking in the feeling of being fully lit up awake,

Conscious and connected to every being on the planet.

And when you are ready,

Maybe wiggling your toes and fingers,

Taking a moment to reintegrate feeling your body noticing any sensations and gently opening your eyes and coming back into the space.
