Hello and welcome back to Pregnancy JSJ Meditations,

Where you experience a new form of meditation that includes a guided practice through a highly developed form of acupressure called JSJ,

Which is the main focus,

Along with breath and relaxation awareness,

Emotional freedom techniques,

Affirmations,

And more.

Today let's practice something called the Kidney Function Energy Flow.

In JSJ,

This flow is a fourth depth flow focusing on increasing the energy within our bodies.

Being a fourth depth flow,

This helps us to release fear and it helps us to create,

Transform into what we are becoming,

Which is a new mom or a mom of two,

Three,

Four,

Or however many kids you have.

We're creating and transforming our lives.

This is a great flow just to help accept this transformation.

As we get started today,

I recommend that you sit in an upright position for this flow.

If you can lay down,

I will explain how you can reach some of these points if you decide that you need to lay down today.

But if you are able to,

I would recommend that you sit upright for this flow.

You can sit cross-legged in a comfortable position or you can sit in a chair with your feet out in front of you resting flat on the floor.

Make sure you get pillows to get yourself comfortable if you need to prop up your back or put pillows under your seat.

And we will get started in the first position.

The first position would be to take your right hand and hold your left pinky toe.

So if you're in a cross-legged position,

You'll probably be able to reach this quite easily.

And if you're sitting in a chair,

I recommend that you take your left ankle and cross it over and rest it on the top of your right knee so that you can reach your toe.

And then your left hand is going to go on top of your pubic bone in the front.

So right in the center of your underwear,

If you can imagine where that is,

And you can just rest your hand right in the spot.

And if you're new to these meditations,

You do not need to have skin-on-skin contact.

And if you decided to lie down for this meditation today,

What you can do is I would recommend lying on your left side and you can take your right big toe and touch your left pinky toe.

So you don't have to grip it with your toe or anything,

But just have your right big toe touch your left pinky toe.

And then your left hand will go on top of your pubic bone as well.

But this could be an alternative if you need to lay down today.

Let's all bring awareness to our breath as we settle into this position for just the next minute or two.

Bring your inner awareness towards your breath.

And now bring your awareness more towards your exhalation and just observe what your exhalation is like currently.

Is it shallow?

Is it deep?

Is it quiet?

Is it loud?

Is it quiet?

Is it quiet?

Is it quiet?

Is it quiet?

Is it loud?

If you were feeling stressed before you started this meditation,

I encourage you to let out a big sigh or a big exhalation that just feels good to your body.

So experience the letting go of breath in labor.

We experience a letting go on a huge level.

So practicing letting go is a very important practice for me when preparing for labor and birth.

Just this idea,

The concept,

The feeling of letting go.

Throughout this whole meditation,

Continue bringing your awareness back to your exhalation when you can and provide your body with a nice and natural exhalation that feels good to you today.

And just experience this letting go every time you remember to.

Our minds wander,

Especially during pregnancy.

We can have a lot on our minds.

So don't get caught up when your mind wanders and you start thinking about other things.

In typical meditation,

I think a lot of people tend to get frustrated because they feel like they can't clear their minds or they just feel tense the whole time.

But with JSJ,

You're balancing your energy no matter what you're thinking about.

So your mind could still be running with all the to-dos and all the tasks.

But if you practice the holds and focus on your exhalation here and there,

You are gaining so much benefit and your mind over time will settle and you will begin to experience the settling of your mind.

Other meditations actively practice and actively,

That's the main focus is to practice clearing your mind with JSJ.

It's more of just the effect instead of the intention.

It just kind of happens naturally.

And now it's time to move our right hand.

So you can,

If you're sitting,

You can place your left foot back on the floor,

However is comfortable.

If you're lying down,

You can remove your right big toe from your left pinky toe.

And your right hand is going to go at the base of your lower back,

Fingertips pointing down.

If you can't have your hand in the middle of your back with your fingertips pointing down,

Just have your fingertips near your tailbone.

So kind of right at the top of your underwear line.

If you can imagine where that is,

Just have your hand resting.

And if you're sitting with a nice back of a chair or maybe there's a pillow back there,

Just smoosh your hand between that back rest and the very top edge of your seat,

Of your buttocks.

And then your front,

Your left hand is still going to be on the front.

So you're almost making,

So you're just kind of sandwiching your pelvic area.

No pressure.

You don't need to apply pressure.

You just keep your hands there.

Our hands are the jumper cables of our bodies,

Of our energetic bodies,

Inviting the energy to a specific safety energy lock location.

So our hands are kind of sandwiching our pelvic area.

You don't need to have any pressure with JSJ.

You don't need to apply any pressure.

Our hands are just called the jumper cables,

Inviting our energy to move in a specific location in a specific way,

Specific pattern.

Take your awareness back to your breath,

Back to your exhalation.

And now I'll tune into myself as you follow along with my words,

As I start the guided meditation portion so that we can accept and release all the fears surrounding our labor and birth.

I accept and acknowledge the fear I may have towards my labor and birth experience.

I acknowledge all these fears and I let them come up now.

I allow myself to think about the things that I am scared about,

Such as pain,

Not getting to the hospital in time,

Having complications,

Me not being safe or my baby not being safe,

Feeling too vulnerable,

Feeling too scared to proceed with labor and birth,

Having the pain paralyze me to the point where I have a traumatic experience.

Please add any other fears that you may have.

I accept and allow all these fears as I know they are just fears,

Standing for false evidence,

Appearing real.

These fears are not the truth,

But they are my feelings and I breathe through them.

I exhale fully and completely as I allow these fears to come up and out of my soul,

Spirit,

Body and mind.

I now move my left hand into the next position.

I take my left hand and I place it under my right rib cage.

So in the middle of your body where your rib cage meets,

I take my left hand and I place it just to the right side of this,

Underneath my rib cage.

For me it's right where I can barely feel my rib cage anymore because I'm at 38 weeks,

So it's right below my breast,

Right between where my breast ends and my belly begins on the right side of my body,

But still towards the center.

And I take one slow exhalation as I begin reprogramming,

Releasing the fear.

I am safe in this moment.

I am safe.

I am protected.

My body intuitively knows exactly how to birth my precious baby.

And I have confidence that I will be mindful and aware during labor and birth in order to assist my body to do all the things it knows how to do.

So I can disentangle from any fear as relates to labor and birth now.

I realign with safety,

Peace,

And trust.

Realign now.

Realign with feelings of letting go in this moment.

Realign now.

I disentangle from any feelings of being scared about labor and birth and I reintegrate now.

I realign with feeling confident,

Strong,

And ready.

And I realign now.

I disentangle from anything in my past experience,

Keeping me in this state of fear towards labor and birth and I reintegrate now.

I realign with a new experience,

With new trust,

With openness,

Fluidity,

Ease,

And grace.

And I realign now.

Feel fully and completely.

And now take your left hand and move it directly up your body in the middle of your chest on the right side.

So you are on the right side of your thymus if you know where your thymus is located.

Or just put your left fingertips in the middle of your chest on the right side.

All the things I'm fearful about I put into a pot and I disentangle from all of these feelings now.

I realign with peace,

Trust,

Confidence.

And I realign now.

I realign with courage in the wisdom of the feminine spirit and I reintegrate now.

And breathe out and let go.

Just let it go.

I disentangle from all the fears presented to me from others or from things I've read and I reintegrate now.

I realign with knowing that I have the best support system,

That I'll be safe,

Protected.

My baby will be safe and protected at all times.

I will be protected during labor and birth.

And I realign with all of this now.

And I exhale fully and completely.

I disentangle from any tension in my body at this moment and I reintegrate now.

I realign with relaxation,

Peace,

Tranquility.

And now I take my left hand and I move it to the right side of the back of my neck.

So you just have your left fingertips.

You have your left arm crossing over the front of your body and your right fingertips are just kind of curled around towards the back of the right side of your neck.

And just rest there.

This is our last position today.

Let's take a deep breath.

And relax in this moment as we finish up our meditation today.

I realign with inner strength.

I realign with the feminine wisdom and the feminine power that surrounds me during labor and birth.

I invite you to take these next couple moments and become in tune with the baby inside of you.

In this stillness,

In this silence,

Just take the next one minute.

Now be quiet to either sit in stillness and silence with your baby or to tell your baby something on your mind or to listen to see if your baby has anything to tell you.

I invite you to take these next couple minutes and become in tune with the baby inside of you.

I hope you enjoyed this meditation today.

And as always,

I hope you all have a wonderful rest of your day and you can bring some of this peace,

Tranquility into the rest of your day.
