Transcript

Good morning,

Welcome to this brand new day.

If you're still lying in bed,

Take a moment to enjoy the soft feeling of the sheets around your body.

Notice the comfort of your pillow and how the morning air gently touches your skin.

Listen to the sounds of this new day.

Be grateful for waking up safe here in this space.

If your mind has already gone into overdrive,

Thinking about everything that needs to be done today,

Offer it a gentle smile.

It's natural to plan ahead.

I'm sure you will do wonderful things today.

But first,

Take a moment just for yourself.

Feel the sensations in your body.

Notice how it moves gently with your breath.

Let the last remainders of sleep slowly fade away.

If you like,

Set an intention for your day.

Perhaps you want to take extra good care of yourself today?

Or create little pockets of mindfulness and calm throughout the day?

Imagine yourself moving through this day with a relaxed,

Confident smile.

Every morning is a brand new beginning.

Countless chances and opportunities are waiting just for you.

Offer the world out there the best version of yourself.

When you're ready,

Gently begin to stretch your body,

Yawn if you like,

And slowly open your eyes.

I wish you a wonderful day.
