Welcome to this gentle 10-minute guided meditation. You'll have the opportunity to take a moment to slow down and drop into your heart space. The intention for this meditation is to open up space for the giving and receiving of love to flow effortlessly and endlessly through your day ahead.

Transcript

Hello and welcome to this meditation.

Open your heart and receive.

Find a comfortable seated position on the floor,

Either flat on a yoga mat,

On a block,

Bolster or against a wall.

Take what you need to find alignment and relaxation.

Before closing your eyes,

Take a look where you are.

In the space that you are in,

Find an object that brings a smile to your face.

Maybe it reminds you of something or someone that brings you joy.

Gift yourself and allow yourself to receive the energy from the object.

Bring it into your heart space as you lovingly,

Slowly close down your eyes.

Begin to drop your awareness all the way to your toes,

Releasing tension in your ankles,

Knees,

And hips,

Letting go of any tightness in the belly as your chest and shoulders fall.

Release your jaw and find space between your brows.

Draw a deep breath in through your nose and on the exhale,

Sigh.

Take another deep breath in and on the exhale,

Sigh.

Keep this deep breath with you as you start to imagine a wave rise on your inhale and gently subside on your exhale onto the shore.

Notice as your belly and chest gently and subtly rise and fall.

Go ahead and take one more deep inhale and make your exhale long and slow out the mouth.

Trail back to your normal breathing pattern as you tune in to your heart and bring to mind your favorite flower,

Subtly and ever so effortlessly as your chest rises and falls.

You notice this flower in your heart space blossoming and opening as you calmly inhale and contracting and softening as you calmly exhale.

Rather than hearing your heartbeat,

You feel this sensitive heartbeat as your flower.

With every breath,

You water this beautiful flower of yours.

The love you receive,

The love you give flows so effortlessly in and out of this space today and forward.

Knowing that every expansion and every contraction within these movements,

You are loved.

You are worthy of love.

You are made of love.

You are able to receive and give an infinite amount of this love that resides inside of you.

Letting its expansion and its contraction be a gentle reminder and a guide to what feels right and aligned for you.

Tune into this space with your flower,

Your breath,

And loving awareness for guidance,

Clarity,

Compassion for yourself and for others.

Your heart,

Your flower is your compass.

Take a deep breath in all the way to your toes.

Begin to draw your awareness to your breath.

Take a deep breath in all the way to your toes.

On the exhale,

Let it trail out up to the crown of your head.

When you are ready,

Gently open up your eyes and begin to carry this love with this open heart of yours as it flows so effortlessly in and out as you give and receive.

Let it carry you through your day,

The places you go,

The people you meet,

And the time spent alone.
