Hello and welcome to a simple five minute guided meditation.

Thank you for your courage in tuning inward.

Find a comfortable relaxing position either lying down or be seated.

You can rest your back on a wall behind you.

Make sure your head is able to move freely.

As you settle into your body,

As you start to relax,

Begin to attune to your body and ask how it feels.

Where are you holding tension and where can you let go?

Allow yourself to relax.

As you tell your mind you will be slowing down for the next five minutes,

Draw a soft inhale into your lungs and a soft exhale.

Slowly let it out.

Inhale deeply and exhale completely.

Soft breath in and a soft breath out.

Feel your weights of your body be held by gravity as you let your sit bones sink into the ground.

Your shoulders relax.

Your belly loosens and you find space in your jaw.

Find relaxation as you let go of tension and start to become aware of the sounds you hear around you.

Possibly cars driving by,

Birds chirping or kids playing.

Whatever it may be,

Allow it to be and release tension in your body.

Sink deeper into the ground beneath you and start to draw your awareness to your breath.

There's no need to change or manipulate your breath.

Allow it to be as it is.

Notice your chest or belly rise on the inhale and your belly and your chest deflate on the exhale.

As you relax deeper,

If you begin to flinch as you relax,

Know that it is just your energy moving inside of your body.

Allow your body to relax and sink deeper into stillness.

Stay with the patience that lies inside of you.

As you notice the sensations in your body,

Let them be as they are.

You feel calm and at ease.

Everything is okay and you have an immense amount of trust that everything will work out for you.

You're exactly where you're meant to be.

Begin to draw your awareness back to your breath.

Breathe in through your nose and exhale,

Sigh out your mouth.

Inhale and exhale.

Beautiful.

Bring your awareness to the noises you hear around you.

Become aware of your surroundings as you bring movement to your wrist and your ankles.

Maybe invite circles with your neck.

Slowly open your eyes and come back to your physical space.

Enjoy and indulge in this feeling as you carry it through your body.

Carry it with you through your day ahead.

Acknowledge yourself for showing up and tuning inward.

I congratulate you.

Bye for now.
