Healthy Boundaries Meditation Close your eyes and focus on your breathing.
Deep breath in,
Slow breath out,
Allowing your thoughts to roll around your head and disappear on the out breath,
Allowing the body to relax and the mind to remain alert.
Take your attention to the base chakra.
Breathing in through the base,
Up the internal tube and out through the crown.
Breathing in through the base,
Up the internal tube and out through the crown.
And allow for a moment all the tension in your body to gather.
Focus your attention on it,
Become deeply aware of it.
Feel it in the muscles,
Feel it in an unspoken stiffness.
Feel it gather,
Feel the tension in the body.
Then in your mind,
Let it go.
Feel the body relax,
The tension move away and allow yourself for a few seconds to feel a deep internal sleep.
Refocusing your attention on the next in breath.
Breathe in through the heart centre,
Centre of your chest.
Breathing in through the heart centre,
Find your awareness reaching in through the internal corridor.
If you can't see,
Then sense.
Sense your awareness moving to your inner world.
In this space,
Moving through the corridor,
Find your attention moving to your feelings.
You're entering the space of the heart centre.
Feel your awareness push in to the space of the heart centre.
This is your feeling centre and your connection to love.
As you move closer to this energy,
Begin to feel what's in the way.
The energy you've spent a lot of time avoiding.
And the energy you've spent a lot of time in.
The pleasing vibration.
As you move closer to the beating heart of the heart centre energy,
Feel the energetic conflict between the two energies within,
The push and the pull.
The energy of I want to and the energy of should.
The should energy is centred around guilt.
What you should be doing in life,
What you should have done.
Should energy is guilt.
It is the energy you engage to be liked,
To be approved of,
But it is in conflict with who you really are.
Feel for a moment that conflict,
The energy that dissolves any healthy boundaries.
In this space,
Feel this energy enough to feel that you're entitled to let it go.
Feeling it means you can let it go.
And now,
Under this energy,
Feel truth of the heart vibration.
Feel it as your beating heart,
Your heart connection.
In this space,
Love is the connection to that endless beat.
Feel in that space what it is to be truly connected.
Feel it.
In here,
Feeling your true essence of connection.
Sense what healthy boundaries are to you.
Feel what they are when you don't have to focus on protection.
What they are when you're in the rhythm of what is.
Feel in this part of your inner world,
Safe.
Safe in knowing you know what it feels like when healthy boundaries are in place.
What it is to have a boundary,
Not a barrier.
Still allow yourself to feel through that heart connection.
Feel the warmth of connection you're allowing yourself to have.
Feel it deeply.
Feeling this sensation come back with you to the physical world.
Feel the beat of the heart center energy return with you to your physical world.
Your awareness spreading through the body.
In your mind,
Throwing roots out from the bottom of your feet,
Planting them deep into the earth and focusing on your breathing.
Very gently,
Bring your awareness back into the room and when you're ready,
Open your eyes.
