Welcome to your gentle pause meditation.

Begin here by situating your body in whatever way feels most nourishing,

Supportive,

And grounding for you.

The intention of this meditation is for it to serve as a practice for you to trust in your own internal rhythms,

To embrace and to trust in the power of pausing,

The power in the space between,

The power in holding steady in transition,

The power in letting things be,

In integrating and digesting life.

As always,

Practitioner's choice here.

Eyes open or closed.

And when you're ready,

In your own rhythm,

In your own timing,

Inhaling through your nose,

Filling up your body,

Taking up space,

Pausing briefly at the top,

Exhaling fully and completely,

Letting it all go,

And briefly pausing at the bottom,

And then repeating,

Inhaling fully and completely,

Briefly pausing at the top,

Exhaling fully and completely,

And briefly pausing at the bottom.

Continue this practice,

Embracing your innate natural rhythm,

And with every pause,

Allowing yourself to receive its medicine,

Allowing yourself to receive its qualities of patience,

Restraint,

Digestion,

Integration,

Allowing yourself to surrender to the rhythm of your soul,

And the rhythm of your body joining together as one.

As you inhale,

Pause,

Exhale,

Pause,

Breathe,

Pause,

Allowing your breath to be full and deep,

Allowing yourself to surrender into your own rhythm,

Allowing yourself to sink into the pleasure of pausing,

The pleasure of being with the experience,

And allowing yourself to fully receive it.

And now allowing yourself to go through one last full round,

And when you're complete,

Allowing yourself to rest here,

To pause,

And receive even more fully the support,

The nourishment,

The vitality,

Letting it all in.

You can remain here for as long as you like.

Thank you for choosing to receive the medicine of pausing.

Sending you so much love and endless blessings.

Take great care.

Such a blessing awaiting us between each breath… if we only pause to bring awareness to it. 🙏
