In this short practice,
I will be leading you through a set of affirmations specially designed to cultivate community.
I'm going to read through the series of affirmations three times because I just love the number three for any type of spiritual work.
I'll pause after each affirmation and you can either repeat aloud or repeat silently in your mind,
Depending on where you are.
Take a deep breath,
Really feel yourself in the space that you are currently practicing in.
And let's begin.
I choose to be present right here,
Right now.
I embrace love and connection with an open heart.
I am grateful for the love that surrounds me.
I nurture my relationships with kindness and understanding.
I attract friendships that uplift and inspire me.
My relationships are sources of growth and learning.
I communicate with clarity and compassion.
I build meaningful connections with people in my community.
Noticing how you felt after the first repetition.
Taking note if there was an affirmation that stood out more than the others.
And we move into round two.

Really letting each word sink in.
Perhaps reflecting with gratitude on the parts of your community that are working for you.

Perhaps taking a few minutes here to journal,
To jot down anything that came up while you were working with these affirmations.
Maybe thinking of one action you can take today that will give you the strength to move forward.
That will cultivate the community you are looking for.
