Transcript

Take a moment to arrive in a comfortable position,

One where you can easily feel a sense of ease throughout your body,

Whether you choose to sit in a chair or on the floor or even to lie down.

Welcome in some simple movements,

Perhaps shift your shoulders or your head from side to side.

Feeling settled slowly,

Take a deep breath in through your nose,

Filling up your lungs and your belly with breath.

Open your mouth,

Let out a big sigh.

Do that one or two more times on your own,

Taking a deep breath in through your nose,

Filling up your lungs,

Letting go of any tension and settling in further as you exhale.

Start this slow process of simply becoming aware of what's going on in your body,

Taking a moment to soften the space between your eyebrows,

To soften and relax your jaw.

You may even choose to bring some space between your top and bottom teeth.

You can just slowly allow this sense of ease to trickle throughout your body,

Noticing your shoulders feeling lighter and the sense of aliveness running throughout your torso so that your posture is upright and elongated,

But also soft.

Allow your breath to come to an easy,

Comfortable rhythm.

A comfortable,

Slow inhale through your nose,

An easy exhale through your nose.

Simply observe the natural flow of your breath for a moment,

Getting acquainted,

Using your breath as a tool to access this moment.

Start to visualize the rest of your day.

You may have many things to do,

A project to complete,

Or perhaps you just aim to have a little more patience with whatever you're met with.

Take a moment to envision seamless,

Effortless,

And easy flow to your day.

As you're browsing with this image,

Inhale a little more deeply and silently say to yourself,

I am energized.

As you exhale,

Silently say,

I am calm.

Inhaling I am energized.

Exhaling I am calm.

Breathing in I am energized.

Exhaling I am calm.

Breathing in,

Breathing out.

Continuing with this affirmation as long as you'd like.

Inhaling I am energized.

Exhaling I am calm.

Inhaling I am energized.

Exhaling I am calm.

Can return to this affirmation at any time throughout the day if you notice that your well-lived patience is a little shallow,

Or if you need to simply reconnect with your heart and with your intention.

Simply breathe in,

I am energized.

And exhale out,

I am calm.

I am energized.

I am calm.

May this affirmation help guide you into this place of ease within yourself,

No matter what you're met with,

This sense of patience and resilience is always accessible.
