Allow yourself to reconnect with and heal your inner child. In this meditation by Patricia Fitzgerald of Healing Creations Art and Meditation, you are taken on a visualization journey that will lead you back into your past, to clear and heal painful memories. Patricia calls upon the violet transmuting flame to assist you to clear and heal these emotions as they rise to the surface. The more you listen to this meditation, the more you will benefit. It takes time to create your current self image and belief system, and doing this meditation repeatedly, will help you to improve your self-image and create a new, positive version of yourself who will serve you well in every aspect of your life. I encourage you to find a comfortable position and relax each time you listen, so that you can allow these powerful healing to provide the greatest possible benefit. Welcome to the Healing Creations Inner Child Guided Meditation.

My name is Patricia Fitzgerald and I'm a mandala artist based in Dublin,

Ireland.

Today I'm going to take you on a journey back to your childhood self to help heal any wounds that you've suffered or that are still holding you back.

So getting yourself comfortable either seated or lying down,

We will begin the meditation.

Closing your eyes,

Bring your attention to your breath.

Notice the in-breath and the out-breath and how they happen with absolutely no effort from you.

In,

Out.

We're going to take three deep breaths in through the nose,

Down into the tummy and exhale.

Feeling any stresses simply melting away.

And again,

Breathing in through the nose,

Down into the tummy and releasing.

Just feeling any stresses melting away.

And a third time in through the nose and out through the mouth.

Feeling your body relax.

Now bring your attention to any sounds you can hear outside of the room.

Move your attention from sound to sound.

Bringing your attention to the sounds inside of the room.

Again,

Moving from sound to sound.

Notice your body sitting in the chair or lying down.

Feel yourself inside of your body.

Call back any energy to you.

Any energy that is yours,

Calling it back to you.

Feel it coming back into your body.

Visualise your aura surrounding you.

Notice how big it is.

See it expand now to an egg shape all around you,

About three feet away from your body.

Above this egg shape,

Notice the bright burning golden light.

See this light expand now,

Burning brighter and brighter.

It's a loving healing light.

Feel that light open up now and shower down into your egg shaped aura,

Into your body.

Filling up every cell,

Every molecule and every space in between.

Notice how that feels.

In your mind's eye now,

Visualise yourself as a child.

See yourself in front of you.

Notice the details,

Your hair,

Your eyes.

What size are you?

What are you wearing?

As you smile at the child,

You take that child's hand and you visualise yourself moving out of the room.

And you make your way towards a place where that child loved to be when they were small.

A safe place.

A place they like to be alone,

To think,

Just to be.

Walk with the child to that place.

Feel that place around you.

Feel the air.

Hear the sounds.

You sit down beside the child,

Holding their hand gently.

Visualise both of you within this space.

Above you,

Notice a purple flame,

A bright burning purple flame.

Feel the flame intensify,

Burn brighter and brighter with its healing light.

Feel that light now moving down into both of your crowns,

Filling up your head,

Connecting you.

As the light swirls down now into your third eyes,

Moving around,

Allowing for insight and healing.

Feel that light now move down both of you into your throat,

Allowing you to speak your truth.

Feel that light move down again now into your heart space,

Filling up your heart.

Feel your heart expand,

Grow brighter with this healing light.

Feel the flame move down again now into your abdomen,

Releasing any tension or anxiety,

Filling it with a nurturing,

Healing light.

Move down again now into your stomach area.

Feel that purple light swirling around your stomach.

Moving down again now to the base of your spine,

Your root chakras.

Feel your hips filling up with this healing purple violet flame.

And feel that flame move down now through your legs,

Your thighs,

Your knees,

Your calves,

Your feet.

Feel it shooting down now into the center of the planet,

Down through the earth,

Down through her crystalline caves,

Right to the center.

The golden light at the center of Mother Earth.

Feel yourself connecting to this mother energy,

This great big hug,

Feeling of nurture,

Of helping,

Of assistance,

Of growth.

Feel that energy bouncing back up from the center of the earth through your feet,

Your knees,

Your thighs,

Your hips,

Your abdomen,

Your chest.

And feel that light radiating out now from both you and your child,

Filling up the entire space around you,

Your safe space,

Your held space.

And holding your child's hand.

Think now of a time when you were a child,

When you felt sad.

Bring this incident to mind now,

Without judgment.

Holding your child's hand.

Feel that nurturing light now enter both of you.

Healing,

Nurturing,

Releasing.

You tell the child that all is OK,

All is well now.

See the child smile at you.

Now bring to mind a time when you were a child and you lost something.

It could be a person.

It could be a thing.

Feel that feeling of loss.

Turn around now and you hug your child and you feel enormous love and nurture and the violet flame burning around you,

Healing you,

Releasing you.

You look in the child's eyes and the child smiles back at you.

Now bring to mind a time when you were a child and you felt let down.

Put your arm around the child and hold in each other.

You feel the purple light moving up into the area of your body where you felt let down.

Feel it filling up that area,

Releasing,

Healing.

Now allow yourselves to think of a time when you felt not good enough.

For some reason you felt you were not good enough.

Notice where you feel that in your body.

You feel the violet light intensify now in this part of your body.

Feel it healing both of you.

You turn to the little child and you both laugh,

Releasing it,

Letting it go.

You look at the child now and you say,

We're safe now,

We don't need that anymore.

You look in the child's eyes and you both think back to a time when you were criticised.

Feel in your body the sucker punch of the criticism,

Something that you may be held onto for years.

You look at the child and you say,

It's okay,

We can let that go now.

And together you look at the violet light moving down now,

Swirling around in a clockwise direction,

Healing,

Releasing and just melting it all away.

You look at the child and together you remember a time when you weren't allowed to be yourself.

A time when you had to pretend to be someone else,

To put on a mask.

Maybe you've taken that mask with you all along your journey.

See that mask,

Like a physical mask.

See it on the child's face.

Gently lift that mask from the child's face.

You toss it into the burning violet flame that surrounds you both.

Seeing it melting and crackling.

It no longer serves you,

We don't need that mask anymore.

You look at the child and smile and they smile right back at you,

Their eyes lit.

Now think of a time when you were angry.

Feel that anger.

Where in your body do you feel it?

Feel that purple violet flame moving down and swirling in a clockwise direction,

Just like a vortex,

Emptying us,

Healing us,

Nurturing us.

You look at the child and the child looks at you.

We say to the child,

It's okay to be angry sometimes,

Sometimes it's necessary.

But we don't have to carry it everywhere with us.

It's right in some situations,

But not to carry it with us all the time.

So both you and the child decide and you agree that you'll only use it when it's really necessary.

Otherwise,

You know to release it,

Let it go,

See it move into the violet flame.

You take the child now in your arms and you give that child the biggest hug.

You feel your hearts connect,

Open,

Merge together as one.

You feel your whole beings merging together as one,

Healed,

Whole,

Unhurt.

And you visualize the space around you,

The safe space,

Knowing it's a place you can return to at any time.

Slowly you rise with your inner child inside of you now.

And you visualize yourself moving out of that space and back into the room where you began the meditation.

See yourself sitting down in the chair,

Relying down.

You visualize the room around you now.

You bring awareness to your breath,

Noticing the in-breath and the out-breath and how they happen with no effort from you.

You feel your energy inside your body now.

And you feel how much more relaxed and calm you are.

You feel such gratitude for all that you and your inner child have released today,

The work that you did together.

You thank your child and your child thanks you.

And you know that you hold each other with respect,

With nurture and with healing.

Again,

You notice the sounds inside of your room,

Simply moving from sound to sound.

Notice the sounds outside of the room now,

Again moving from sound to sound.

Bring the awareness to the breath,

The in-breath and the out-breath and feeling your body lying on the ground or sitting in the chair.

And very slowly and in your own time,

Begin to move your fingers and your toes,

Gradually moving your legs and your arms.

And very gently,

In your own time,

Opening your eyes.

Thank you so much for this meditation. I did it twice because the first time at the beginning my mind was afraid and to protect itself, I believe I fell asleep. The second time though, I found the courage to stay awake and began crying in the middle with my inner child. So from both of us thank you 🙏💖

Without a doubt, the most moving meditation I've ever done. I hadn't realised how much I needed to do this. Yes, I cried, quite a bit. I guess many of us experienced the pain of divorce and a feeling of being unloved as a child. I highly recommend this meditation to anyone
