In this practice we will be using the heart coherence breath.
This breath brings balance to your emotions and physiological functions,
Harmonizing body,
Mind and spirit.
With this breathing technique we will focus on feelings of gratitude to strengthen the energy of the heart.
When we open our hearts to gratitude and love we raise our energetic frequency and attract more abundance into our lives.
The breath is smooth and circular,
Breathing in through the nose for a count of 5 seconds and breathing out through the nose for a count of 5 seconds.
Begin by finding a comfortable place to sit or lie down.
Make any adjustments to ensure that you are as comfortable as possible.
Allowing yourself to be completely held and supported by the surface beneath you.
There is nothing to do and nowhere to be but right here.
Bring your awareness and attention now to your breath and with each exhale allow yourself to sink a little bit deeper into that surface beneath you.
You are held,
You are supported and you are safe.
Bring your awareness now to your heart space,
Feeling into any sensations that might be present there.
Perhaps even placing one hand on your heart and one hand on your stomach if that feels comfortable.
And observe and allow whatever is present for you.
Now bring to mind something that you are grateful for.
It could be a person or people,
It may be even a pet or a place or even a memory.
Whatever brings you a deep sense of gratitude,
Bring that into your minds eye now.
Feel into the sensations this brings into your heart space,
Lightness,
Joy,
Happiness and even allowing a small smile to spread across your face.
Imagine and expand the heart and allow love in.
Stay with these feelings and sensations as we begin to breathe in a rhythm.
