Welcome to this quick breath practice for personal empowerment.
If you are needing a quick shot of confidence to help get you through an event or motivate you through your day or to help you through some to-do lists then this practice is perfect for you.
We will be breathing intentionally into the belly really getting that diaphragm fired up with the breath patterns that we will be using.
We'll begin with 10 sharp short breaths in and out through the nose so it should sound like this.
Moving into 10 breaths in through the nose and out through the mouth which should sound like this.
And finishing with 10 breaths in through the mouth and out through the mouth which should sound a little something like this.
And on the last breath we will take a short top hold and we are going to repeat this twice.
This breath practice is stimulating and invigorating.
You can do it sitting up straight or lying down,
Whatever feels comfortable for you.
And the mantra that we will be using throughout this is I am powerful,
I am capable,
I am ready.
So getting yourself into a comfortable position,
Closing down the eyes or keeping a soft gaze whenever you are ready and begin by taking a nice slow deep cleansing breath in through the nose and sighing out through the mouth.
Letting go.
Let's take one more deep breath in through the nose and sighing it out through the mouth.
Beginning our first round of breath in three,
Two,
One.
Taking a nice deep breath in through the mouth,
Holding at the top.
You've got this.
This hold might feel a little bit tricky in the beginning but you have got this.
Stay with it.
I am powerful,
I am capable,
I am ready.
Allowing those words to absorb into your mind,
Into your body.
Allowing that energy that is building,
The buzzing,
The tingling to bring to life that sense of confidence,
Of empowerment.
I am powerful,
I am capable,
I am ready.
Beautiful.
Releasing that breath now.
Exhaling out through the mouth and just take a couple of slow soft deep breaths in through the nose,
Out through the mouth and we'll begin our second and final round in three,
Two,
One.
Taking that deep breath in through the mouth and holding at the top.
You've got this.
Just relaxing those shoulders,
Relaxing that forehead,
Feeling the aliveness in the body.
I am powerful,
I am capable,
I am ready.
Really tapping in to that inner confidence,
That inner belief with these words.
You are powerful,
You are capable and you are ready.
Releasing that breath now,
Exhaling out through the mouth,
Letting it all go and coming back to your natural breath.
Bringing your awareness now to your solar plexus.
This is located in your upper abdomen,
Just below the breastbone.
So just moving your awareness to this area where our personal power resides and maybe visualizing a ball of light,
A ball of yellow light or perhaps a flame or a fire and allowing this light,
This to grow stronger,
Allowing your confidence to grow,
Your self-belief.
I am powerful,
I am capable and I am ready.
You are powerful because you are a creator.
You have the ability to change,
You have the ability to create what it is you want to experience more of in this life.
You are capable,
You are far more capable than you give yourself credit for.
Trust in your abilities,
You are ready,
You are more than ready to face what it is that you are afraid of.
You have the skills,
The resources,
The wisdom.
You are ready for the next step.

Bringing in some slow movement back into the body,
Becoming aware of your surroundings and slowly opening the eyes and just remember,
