Welcome.

This guided meditation is designed to help you honour your sacred time without guilt.

Take a moment to settle into stillness.

Find a comfortable position,

Either seated or lying down,

And allow your body to release any tension it might be holding.

Relaxing.

Close your eyes gently,

Letting the outside world fade into the background.

This is your time,

Your sacred moment.

Begin by bringing your awareness to your breath,

Noticing its natural rhythm.

Without force,

Take a slow,

Deep inhale,

Filling your lungs completely,

And exhale,

Releasing any tightness or any thoughts that might be pulling you away from this moment.

Inhale deeply once more,

Feeling the breath expand within you,

And exhale,

Allowing a sense of ease to wash over you.

With every inhale,

You are drawing in nourishment,

Presence,

And peace.

With every exhale,

You are letting go of obligations,

Expectations,

And the noise of the outside world.

This time is yours,

There's nothing you need to do,

No one you need to answer to.

Your only task is to be here now.

Now begin to imagine yourself walking along a path.

This path is soft beneath your feet,

Welcoming every step.

This path leads you to somewhere sacred,

Somewhere untouched by expectations,

Responsibilities,

Or the demands of others.

A place that exists just for you.

As you continue walking,

You begin to see it,

The entrance to your sacred space.

It might be a quiet sunlit room,

A hidden garden bursting with life,

The edge of a tranquil lake,

Or a cozy candlelit sanctuary.

Whatever appears to you is exactly what you need.

Step forward,

Crossing the threshold into the space.

Take in the surroundings.

Notice the details,

The textures,

The colors,

The way the light moves.

Feel the air here,

Is it warm,

Cool,

Or crisp?

What sounds fill the space?

Maybe it's birds singing their song,

The soft rustle of leaves,

The distant rhythms of waves,

Or simply a comforting silence.

This is your sacred place.

Here,

Time slows down.

Here,

You are free to simply be.

In this space,

Reflect on what truly fills your life,

What moments make you feel at home within yourself.

What activities,

Experiences,

Or ways of being bring you joy,

Creativity,

And peace?

Perhaps it's the way your hands move when creating something beautiful.

The feeling of fresh air on your skin during a quiet walk.

The stillness of early morning solitude.

The pages of a book turning in your hands.

The sound of your own laughter echoing through a space where you feel fully yourself.

See yourself immersed in these things,

Doing them,

Feeling them,

Experiencing them fully.

Let yourself bask in the energy they bring.

You are meant to feel this alive.

This joy,

This nourishment,

Is not indulgence,

It's not selfishness.

It is necessary.

It is sacred.

Now bring your mind to a time when you said yes,

When you truly meant no.

A time when you set aside your own needs to meet the expectations of others.

Feel the weight of that moment,

The way your energy dimmed just a little.

It's time to release the guilt and replace it with this truth.

Repeat to yourself,

My time is sacred.

My energy is valuable.

I do not need permission to honor what fills me with life.

Let these words settle deep into your being.

Feel them anchor within you like deep roots of a strong,

Unshakable tree.

Now see yourself at the entrance of your sacred space once more.

You're standing tall,

Strong,

And clear.

Before you is a threshold,

A doorway between the sacred world and the outside world.

You know that this space is always here.

You know that your time,

Your energy,

And your joy are not things to be sacrificed,

But things to be protected.

You understand that saying no to what drains you is saying yes to what expands you.

With this knowing,

Take a full breath in and exhale,

Sealing in this truth.

You are no longer available for anything that does not nourish you.

You choose ease,

You choose joy,

You choose what fills you with life.

Slowly bring your awareness back to your body.

Feel the ground beneath you steady and unwavering.

Wiggle your fingers and toes,

Roll your shoulders gently,

Feeling a new found of lightness in your being.

And when you're ready,

Open your eyes,

Carrying this sacred space with you,

Knowing it's always within reach.
