This is a guided meditation to facilitate healing in your body,

One breath at a time.

It can be done either sitting or laying down.

If you're sitting,

Make sure you have a comfortable seat,

Head over shoulders,

Shoulders over hips.

If you're laying down,

Invite your knees to draw together and your feet apart in just this constructive rest.

Let your arms just drape out to the side with your hands palms up,

Open to receive.

And as you're here,

Just begin to feel your body land.

Notice where you are,

Feel what's touching down,

Your feet,

Your seat.

If you're laying down,

The places on the back,

The back of the head,

The back of the arms.

Just invite yourself to be right here,

Right now.

And once you land,

Then you arrive.

And as you feel yourself arrive,

Just begin to notice your body breathing you.

Energy from the universe comes in on every inhale.

And part of us goes back out on every exhale.

And without you doing anything,

Energy just begins to flow into every cell in the body.

And then a part of you goes back out.

So as you land and arrive,

Just invite yourself to relax into noticing the breath.

And if you notice that your mind starts taking you into any thoughts,

Just come back to breath and sensation.

So the energy that's drawing into the body is the chi,

The prana that's all around us.

So we're going to do this full chi breath to open up in the body.

So invite yourself to just exhale everything out.

And as you begin to inhale through your nostrils,

Imagine energy from the bottoms of the feet,

Up through the inseams of the legs,

All the way up through the torso into the collarbones and take a big breath in of golden light.

As you exhale,

Imagine from your armpits down your arms and out through your fingertips,

Just exhaling out.

And inhale that golden light from fingernails up the arms,

Up the neck into the crown of the head,

Fill up.

And then exhale down through the head,

Down through the torso,

Down to the legs and out through the feet.

And that's the healing chi breath.

So again,

Imagine that golden light traveling bottoms of the feet,

Up the legs,

Up the inseams of the legs,

All the way up through the body into the collarbones.

You inhale up through the nostrils.

You exhale out from the armpits down the arms out through your fingertips.

See that radiant golden light,

Everything you touch radiating out.

Draw that energy in from fingernails up the arms,

Up the neck,

All the way up into the crown.

See that light open it all up.

Then exhale,

Just feel it cascade down,

Down the head,

Down the torso,

Down the arms,

Down the legs,

Out the feet.

And you begin again.

Golden light from the energy all around us,

Inhaling bottoms of the feet through the big toes,

All the way up the inseams,

All the way up through the body into the outer collarbones.

Inhale.

Exhale from your armpits down the inner arms out fingertips,

Let it radiate out.

Inhale fingernails up the wrists,

Up the shoulders,

Up the neck,

All the way up through the crown.

Let it cascade down through the face,

Down through the jaw,

Down through the shoulders,

The hands,

The torso,

The hips,

The knees,

The ankles,

The feet.

Then we begin again,

Bottoms of the feet,

Big toes up the inseams through the body to the outer collarbones.

Inhale.

Exhale from armpits down the inner arms out through fingertips.

See it in your mind's eye,

Yi Chi Li,

The breath,

The consciousness following to open up pathways from fingernails up the arms,

All the way up through the neck into the crown of the head.

Then exhale from the head down through the torso,

Down through the legs,

Out through the feet.

See if you can find it on your own,

Bottoms of the feet all the way up through to the collarbones.

You inhale.

Exhale from armpits to fingertips.

Inhale fingernails all the way up through to the crown.

Exhale and crown down.

See that pathway,

Bottoms of the feet all the way up through to collarbones.

Inhale.

Exhale from armpits out fingertips.

Going through the nostrils,

Fingernails all the way up through the crown of the head.

Follow the pathway and let it radiate down from the crown,

Down slowly down through the body,

Out through the feet.

Good one more time on your own from the bottoms of the feet,

Big toes,

Inseams through the body up to collarbones.

Inhale.

Armpits out fingertips,

Exhale.

Fingernails up the arms,

Up the neck to the crown and let it all just cascade down.

Just pause for a moment and notice how it feels in your body.

You feel more alive and you feel more calm.

You feel more present.

You feel more connected to this moment and invite yourself to set your intention for whatever it is you want to take with you out into the world.

Perhaps draw your hands together,

Prayer,

Feeling this present moment.

Whatever it is you want to share out there with the planet,

With the universe,

With the energy,

Use this affirmation,

I am and fill in the blank.

I am.

Whatever it is you need.

I am grateful.

I am calm.

Whatever that is,

Breathe into every cell.

Inhale,

I am.

And exhale,

Whatever that is out there.

Inhale,

I am your intention.

Then exhale it out there,

Let the universe work out the details.

One more time.

Inhaling,

I am.

And exhale it out there.

Thank you for your practice.

Namaste.
