Well,

Okay,

Welcome back once again.

Today I'm going to give you a little bit of insight on to how to tap into your spiritual guide.

All of us have an inner guide,

And some of us even have guides that are,

I guess,

From the spiritual world or from some other place,

Other dimension,

That somehow either watch over us or maybe help guide us when we're able to dive into and hear what they have to say.

So today I'm going to get into how to tap into that inner guide and also how to listen for other sources of guides to help guide you throughout your lives.

So inside of us all,

We have a guide.

The guide works through our intuition,

And most people have never tapped into it or have never used the guide because they've used their minds most of their lives to get through life.

They use reasoning and concise thought to guide them.

But I studied martial arts for many years,

And one of the martial arts I studied was Aikido.

In Aikido,

They do a lot of sword work.

We call it the bokken,

The wooden sword.

And we learn in Aikido that the person who thinks in a sword fight will actually lose the fight because the movements are so fast that if you stop to think,

Like,

I'm going to pierce this guy's heart,

Then with that thought,

The other guy has already cut off your head because thought actually slows you down.

So in Japanese martial arts and Chinese martial arts,

They've actually learned that you can move with your consciousness,

With your inner guide guiding you faster than the mind can actually function.

So the mind kind of slows everything down.

So in these,

They've learned to tap into it very easily.

It becomes a practice to move without thinking,

To just have your guide guide you and do that.

But most people,

Like I said,

Don't use this guide,

Especially in the West,

Like I said,

Because we're so stuck into believing that the only way to function is through the mind.

So I'm going to read something out of a book I'm reading called Intuition by Osho.

And he's telling us about Castaneda's book.

And Castaneda's master,

Don Juan,

Gives him a beautiful experiment to do.

It is one of the oldest experiments on the dark night,

On a hilly track,

Dangerous without any light.

Castaneda's master said,

You simply believe in the inner guide and start running.

So I'll step out of context.

So in the middle of night when it's completely dark,

It's dangerous.

It's a hilly track.

It's unknown with trees and brushes and abysses and Castaneda could fall anywhere.

Even in the daylight,

He had to be alert.

Walking there and at night,

Everything was dark.

He could not see anything.

And his master said,

Don't walk,

Run.

So Castaneda couldn't believe it.

It was that simple.

It was simply suicidal.

He became scared,

But the master ran.

He ran off just like a wild animal and came back running.

And Castaneda could not believe or understand how he could accomplish this.

Not only was he running in this darkness,

But each time he came running directly back to Castaneda.

And it was as if he could see in the night,

In the dark.

Then by and by,

Castaneda gathered courage.

And if this old man could do this,

Then why not he?

He tried.

And by and by,

He felt an inner light guiding him and coming in.

And then he started running.

All right.

So yeah,

That's what Osho put in the book,

Intuition.

Very good book if you want to read it.

It's definitely worth a few bucks.

So we go a little deeper into the subject.

First,

You have to convince your reason.

And even if your inner guide says,

Go ahead,

You still have to convince your reason.

And then you miss opportunities because there are moments you can use them or you can misuse them.

Intellect takes time.

And while you're pondering and contemplating and thinking,

You miss the moment.

Life is not waiting for you.

One has to live immediately.

One has to be a warrior.

Like I said,

With the Zen tradition,

If you stop to think,

Then you lose the fight.

So when I practice Aikido,

I would do this while I'm practicing.

I'm trying to go through the movements with muscle memory,

With my body moving without me thinking.

And I was able to actually do the techniques through just observation and letting my inner guide.

Everyone is born with an inner guide,

With this inner wisdom that we can tap into.

But you have to basically stop your mind from being the controller and just trust this intuition.

It's very difficult at first.

I guess you could say it's easier if you function from the heart center,

If you're already a little bit closer to your gut,

Because the mind is a long journey from the gut and you're bypassing the heart.

And if you start listening to your intuition,

It hits your heart first and then it becomes easier for you to follow it and basically function through this new center,

This new guide.

And also,

I want to say that I think that these spiritual guides that connect or try to contact us and help guide us,

So our guides have guides.

And it's funny because I normally wouldn't even believe in spiritual guides helping us,

Because there's this essence of teaching that I've learned that as we draw closer and closer to godliness,

As we meditate more,

As we start trusting our intuition,

As we start growing spiritually,

We become closer to the center of the wheel.

And the center of the wheel is a hub,

And this hub basically is one.

But as the spokes get closer,

They blend together to the hub.

And all these spokes kind of,

In a sense,

Start bleeding together and they become one.

So like I said,

The closer you become to the center,

Then the more you know of this oneness,

This godliness,

The actual source of where all the guides come from is this one energy.

And tapping into spirituality and tapping into your intuition and meditating and learning to trust this inner guide will draw you closer to the center.

And like I said,

It all becomes more closer to one and one and one,

And they dissolve.

All the branches dissolve into this oneness,

And that in turn connects you directly to the source.

So guides basically become irrelevant when you can actually tap right directly into the source and become one with the source.

Then there's no separation at all.

And then you can go out throughout your whole days functioning from this guide and not using the mind.

And I'm not saying the mind's not a beautiful thing,

But you kind of know that it's the guide teaching you when it kind of bubbles from your gut and moves upward.

When your mind works,

It tries to push something downwards,

So it's kind of more on the periphery,

But it's a little more shallow.

And then you can start realizing the distinctions between thinking and your inner guide or inner guides.

So if you take off running in the middle of the night and try this sometime,

You might find out that you can make it through the night and you can maybe almost start seeing in the middle of the night,

Which seems almost impossible,

But you're trusting your guide and your guides,

They won't steer you wrong.

That doesn't mean you're going to be successful in everything in life.

It doesn't mean you'll have everything you want in life.

It doesn't work that way.

Like even Jesus said at the last minute,

I mean,

Jesus,

You couldn't say he was successful because he died on the cross at a very young age and was crucified.

A lot of people wouldn't call that successful.

I mean,

He had very few followers and just a few peasants knew him,

But his teaching blew up and expanded into the greatest religion in the world almost.

But Jesus used his inner guides.

He trusted his intuition and he basically said,

Thy will be done.

God's will be done.

Even though he rebucked it and fought it till almost the last minute and then he gave in.

And then at that point he became the Christ.

He became a Buddha to say,

A living incarnation of God on this planet.

So here's something that's interesting when we start trusting our inner guides and we raise energy upwards into our higher chakras.

When you raise energy up into the heart center,

A lot of miracles happen.

One of the greatest miracles happen because it happens and you get to still see it.

You get to observe what this happening.

But above the heart,

Then the throat chakra,

The third eye chakra and the crown.

What happens is when your third eye opens,

You can actually see the energy that functions in the throat and in the heart and in the other centers.

You can actually visually see these things.

And one day I could get up to a certain level and I saw this,

When I close my eyes and I meditate,

I see this grid,

This beautiful grid that's full of love and beauty and just this vibrant energy.

And I realized that it was a dimension that I'm seeing,

A higher dimension.

But one day I asked,

Was there anything above that?

What is behind it?

What's creating this dimension?

And my eyes were open and of course I was in meditation when I saw this,

But I could start seeing stars,

Like billions of energy stars.

And they would either be flowing into me or flowing out of me.

And I could actually will them to change.

I could change the flow to go in me or I could make it go away from me.

And I felt that it was anytime I felt like I was receiving energy from the universe,

Then the stars would flow into me.

And then when I wanted to get back to the universe,

They flew out of me.

But also I noticed,

Even with my eyes closed,

I could see the walls in the room.

The stars made surfaces,

Almost like how a blind man could see in a sci-fi movie that I watched one time where he would do vibrations like how a bat would see maybe and use sound echoes.

But I'm using spiritual echoes and I could actually see the ceiling fan working.

I could see it spinning.

With my eyes closed,

I could see energy moving.

I saw my dog because sometimes when I meditate,

I let my dog stay next to me and I could see the shape of my dog.

I could lift my hand up and see my hand.

And I've never experimented with it because I don't usually walk around when I'm meditating,

But I'm pretty sure I could get around the room like it was daylight because I could see everything even with my eyes closed.

And I also came to another realization that that's like the last temptation drawing you away from entering the crown chakra,

The nirvalki samadhi,

The highest level of samadhi.

So there's these temptations from the throat and the third eye that don't keep you from it,

But you have to drop those things to dive into nirvalki samadhi.

Anyway,

That's kind of my insight for how to tap into your inner guides.

They're reached through your gut and listening to your gut.

A lot of people are on social media wondering,

Hey,

How do you tap into these guides?

Because a lot of people seem to be doing it very easily while others have no clue how to tap into it.

So this is a little insight into how to access your guide,

Your inner guide first.

And then you can start trusting if you hear any other voices coming out of your gut,

Then you know that they are a spiritual source that can be trusted because it's like I said,

It's like that wheel and that hub.

As you draw closer to the center of the hub,

It becomes more godly and more spiritual.

And that you can trust.

You can always trust your intuition,

Your voices that are coming from your gut because they're coming from a higher source.

I know it seems like the opposite direction,

Right?

Wouldn't it be coming,

If it's higher,

Wouldn't it come from towards the head first?

But that's just not the way it works.

Your gut ties you to this world.

It ties you to godliness.

That is the portal.

And it just functions from your center and your true center.

I constantly hear this on Facebook and other social media sites that a lot of people say that their spiritual journeys are difficult and horrible and lonely and depressing.

I don't know what they're doing wrong.

Because if you're doing your spiritual search the right way,

If you meditate and dissolve into your oneness,

Into your gut basically,

And then dissolve into existence and become one with existence while you're meditating,

Then you're doing it the right way.

It takes a while for that to happen,

Though.

You can't just sit down and meditate and sit there for 15 minutes expecting something to happen because nothing's going to happen that way.

You have to have no expectations.

You have to come into meditation completely clean of any expectations.

And you have to jump out of the mind.

So the key is when your mind becomes still,

When your mind stops.

And it will stop if you just watch it.

If you just become the watcher and let the superhighway basically dissolve.

And eventually all the cars will stop and then the highway will disappear.

And you'll experience this moment of stillness in the mind.

And dive into that stillness.

Allow these gaps to happen and allow them to become bigger and bigger and bigger and bigger.

Eventually,

It may just be a minute or so,

But eventually it will grow into 5,

10,

15,

20,

30 minutes,

Maybe an hour of stilling the mind.

And if you can still the mind for an hour,

Then what will happen is about 15 minutes into your meditation of stillness,

You'll make a jump to the spiritual center.

The mind will be,

When it's completely stilled,

Your consciousness jumps back to another center.

It's just a functioning of the human psyche that happens.

And it's a wonderfully beautiful experience.

It's blissful.

It's joyful.

It's spirituality is supposed to be happy,

Supposed to be joyful,

And supposed to be blissful.

It's not supposed to be the opposite.

So if the opposite is happening to you,

Realize that you're doing something wrong.

You're not taking the right path in.

Because like I said,

The closer you come to the center,

The closer to the hub you get,

The more joyful and happy and spiritual you'll be and more blissful you'll be.

So that's the criterion.

I know Osho said several times that love and meditation are two sides to the same coin.

So the more meditative you become,

You're supposed to be more loving because you can't have one without the other.

And you'll find a lot of really devout Christians who are very spiritual people who are not just so-called religions,

Christians,

But real people who dive 100% into their spirituality.

They become very loving.

Even though they've never meditated,

They become in a sense meditative.

They become calm,

Quiet,

Still people through the door of love.

And that may have been more of Jesus' approach.

We don't know.

I mean,

I suspect that Jesus did meditate.

I think he went to India in his missing years and Tibet and experienced many yogis and learned the ways of the East.

And then he brought those ways back to his homeland and to his fellow Jewish friends that he had mustered up and the followers he got to follow him.

They learned the way of love.

Jesus basically brought in the essence of love that was kind of missing because they had the law,

But they didn't have any teachings on love.

So Jesus brought that back from the East and incorporated it into Western religion and to what we know of Jesus' teachings.

However diluted they are,

Some of the essence of Jesus' teachings have a truth to them because you can feel it in your gut.

You know something has truth into it when it resonates with your inner being,

With your inner gut,

And you can trust that.

But you can also realize that there's half-truths,

Things that aren't totally true in the New Testament and the Old Testament too,

You could say.

But you can feel the truth inside of you and it resonates.

And that which is not true,

You can feel that too.

It is this inner guide that guides you.

And you'll know it.

You'll know the truth when you read it.

And if it doesn't sound right,

If it doesn't sound completely true,

There are things that can be half-true and half-false.

Kind of like if you walk at night and you're not using your intuition like we just talked about,

But you're just walking at night and you step on a rope and your instinct says that it is a snake.

So you jump.

You jump without thinking,

But you jump and get away from that piece of rope.

Now in reality it's just a rope,

But in your mind it could have been a snake.

So basically it's kind of half-true and not half-true.

So it's both.

And we do find a little bit of that in almost all the books that are written because what you're doing is you're taking something,

An instance of godliness,

An experience of godliness,

And then you're trying to put it into words.

And when you put it into words,

You have to use the mind.

We have to use language,

Which is just a tool.

And the only tool we have to communicate by is language.

And something always gets lost in the translation between the mind of the enlightened person and even their words that they use.

Something gets lost.

Some of the meaning just doesn't convey through words.

So it is what it is.

That's what we have.

But that's why we have to start learning to trust these inner guides.

Trust our inner intuition and evolve and grow and live through this spiritual essence rather than living blindly through the mind and just trusting reason.

Because life is deeper than that.

Life is higher than that.

But I guess we'll end it there.

Anyway,

Thank you guys and girls for joining me.

And all of you,

I hope you have a wonderful life and learn to imbibe some of the words.

And hopefully the translation wasn't lost with my interpretation of how to hand it off to you.

But anyway,

God bless you.

Namaste to all you spiritual people.

Aloha to all you surfers and mahalos and blue skies to all you skydivers.

Take care of yourselves.

Bye-bye.
