Within the next following minutes,

I'll discuss everything I can discuss about becoming enlightened.

Before we get into that,

I want to say thank you and a big shout out to my new followers,

Judith,

Julie,

Flame,

Simba,

Mark.

Thank you guys for all joining and following along with these hopefully wonderful talks.

So first I want to say that we're living from the wrong center.

Most of us,

95% of us,

Are living on the mind center.

The mind center is wonderful,

It's a great tool,

It's a good place to be,

And it can help you make a living,

It can do so many wonderful things.

But when it comes to spirituality,

You have to leave the mind center and go to your real center.

But right now your whole world exists from the mind center,

Which is on the periphery,

Which is on the very outside of your being.

And it's not very deep.

But the thing is that you don't know any other way.

No one has taught you there's a difference between being really centered and living on the mind center.

So your whole world,

Everything that you perceive,

Everything that you know,

Is on the center.

And you think that's everything.

Because you don't know yourself,

You don't know anything beyond that.

And this is the whole reason I've made so many recordings and I keep preaching and teaching and helping you guys to understand that this new center,

The one that happens between the breaths,

When you inhale and you hold your breath for a second,

In that inhalation,

In that holding,

It forms a new center.

A new center is born there.

Then you exhale and you have another gap between the exhalation and the inhalation.

And there's a gap there,

And that's the outside.

So you create this awareness by breathing,

By centering yourself,

And feeling aware and watching the mind.

And by watching the mind,

Then you push your center back to the real center.

And when you start functioning from that center,

Then it's a whole different world,

Right?

Your whole world is including the mind,

But it's from a different standpoint.

It's from a different angle.

I mention all this because no mind-centered person has ever become enlightened.

Sure,

There have been great minds like Albert Einstein.

Albert Einstein,

I think he maybe dibbled into the esoteric a little bit,

But basically he had a great mind,

But I don't think he knew meditation.

I don't think he ever really spent any major time getting into deep meditation.

So anyway,

The mind center is the wrong center.

That's step number one.

So with that in mind,

We have to use the words in mind,

Of course.

Very fitting.

So the best thing you can do if you really want to become enlightened is to forget about it.

Drop it.

Just completely forget about it.

And the reason I say that is because to know enlightenment is to be a no-mind,

To function from a different center,

To function from your real center and have a space where you create.

Because enlightenment is really more of a byproduct rather than an effect,

Cause and effect,

Because there's no cause to enlightenment.

It is a byproduct of having a no-mind.

And I say it is a byproduct because it goes beyond cause and effect.

I know that sounds crazy and this is maybe hard to grasp,

But if you're a mind-centered person you have to make the shift.

You have to make the shift to your real center,

To a deeper core within you.

And once you've shifted to this real center,

Then you have to expand these gaps of no-thought,

These gaps of no-mind.

And it can be done.

It's not too hard.

It may seem at first,

If you're a mind-centered person,

It may seem at first like you're holding your breath.

And in that holding of the breath for a few seconds you have no-thought.

That's the beginning.

That's the start of this journey.

And these gaps will get bigger and the gaps will continue to grow and you'll have much more time of no-thought.

And in this time of no-thought you'll find that you're not living in the future and you're not living in the past.

All these memories of the past can cloud the present moment.

So we have to drop the past and then we also have to drop the future and live just in this present moment.

And if you picture the Christian cross,

You've got a horizontal beam and then a vertical beam that cross in the middle.

Well,

The horizontal beam before Christianity came along and they had the iron cross,

The traditional Celtic cross,

The meaning of it was to jump in that middle point from the past to the future,

The middle point,

Right in the middle where the two beams of wood meet together.

There's a jump to the vertical.

And if you jump onto this vertical plane,

Then in these moments of no-thought,

These moments of pure bliss that you experience only in meditation,

If you jump from the horizontal to the vertical,

Then you jump into eternity.

And it's so blissful and it's so peaceful and it's such a blessing to experience it.

And nothing can give you this other than meditation.

Meditation is the only source that can come to this.

Love has its own rewards and its own bounties and everything,

But meditation has this joy,

This one thing that takes you out of the mind and takes you to a new center.

And then when you make the horizontal jump,

When you've had enough gaps that you've built up and you switch from a mind center to a no-mind center,

Where consciousness is now doing the actions for you and helping you to go through life and find your path going this way or that way.

But in a sense you could say that on the horizontal beam,

You're going from point A to point B to point C to point D.

And it's all affected by gravity.

But when you switch right in the very center,

In the very middle,

And that's why Buddha called his path the middle path.

When you get to that point right in the very middle where there's no future and there's no past,

Right in the middle,

You're able to make the leap and the switch to the vertical plane.

And by switching to the vertical plane,

That's when the magic happens.

Then energy starts to levitate.

Energy actually does two things at this point.

It goes down and it grounds you to the earth.

And then as it grounds,

It also lifts itself up higher and higher.

You have to have both in life.

You have to have a balance between good grounding and a sense of spiritualness that's rising up through you and reaching the higher chakras.

And when energy gets up to the fourth chakra,

Then that's when the miracle really happens.

Because when 51% of your energy gets up to the fourth chakra,

Then the shift happens.

The immediate enlightenment,

You could call it.

Because that's when enlightenment happens,

Is when at least 51% of your energy rises up into the heart chakra.

And the heart is where God lives with inside of us.

It's where He dwells.

Or you say She dwells.

It doesn't matter.

It's all the same.

But if you're looking for it,

It's never going to happen.

Like I said,

You have to dissolve and dissolve into no mind and function from this no mind center,

This new centering that you're finding out about just now.

You have to give it a try.

You have to experiment with it and allow yourself time to grow,

Time to evolve.

And then you can go beyond time.

So you're using time like a thorn to pull another thorn out of your foot,

You could say,

Because you're using time as a tool.

And experiencing no time.

When you're experiencing no time,

All around you time still exists.

But it's this miracle like thing that happens to you when you go into meditation and you become silent and you have some gaps of no thought.

What happens is that before long you notice that you may have been meditating for an hour and it felt like it was only five minutes.

Because you lose all sense of time when the mind is not functioning.

When you're functioning from this new center,

Time doesn't really exist.

It's a fine,

Fine middle point between past and future.

And that's where the jump is.

So anyway,

Bask in all of life's glory.

Like I said,

When I say the roots have to go deep into the earth in order for your spirit to soar,

You have to love this earth.

You have to love life.

You have to be so contented with how beautiful life is before enlightenment will happen to you.

So it's this gratitude,

This eternal gratitude that happens to you along this journey when you start meditating and getting deeper into your moments of no thought where there's gaps that seem to go on for eternity.

So anyway,

That's my input into helping you guys to become enlightened.

I hope you enjoyed this talk.

And if you give me a feedback or let me know what you think or what you thought about this,

That'd be great.

If you leave me a rating if you liked this talk,

Then that would be much appreciated.

If you didn't like this talk,

That's okay.

Because I'm not for everybody.

Maybe only a few people can really understand what I'm saying and vibrate on the same frequency as I'm vibrating.

I'm coming to you from the top of the mountain,

Basically,

And I'm reaching down and extending my roots into the valley.

Like I said,

You have to be that big in order to share experiences of the mountaintop.

So anyway,

Enlightenment is a peak experience.

And another thing,

One thing more before we go,

I'll say about enlightenment is that even though it's a peak experience,

It's also like an onion that has like thousands of layers.

And you peel one layer and there's another.

So all these realizations could come to you in the beginning of enlightenment,

But it's only the beginning.

Enlightenment basically is not perfect.

It still has room for growth.

And if it was perfect,

It would just be one experience,

Then it would die.

And then that would be it.

But there's room for growth.

There's room for expansion.

And it's actually infinite.

And it just keeps going.

These words of wisdom I'm trying to bring to you go beyond just me.

They go beyond me in so many ways that all the masters,

Everyone who has ever been enlightened can say the same thing and share the same truths to you.

And I'm not trying to insult any other religion or Christianity in any way,

But in the Bible it actually describes when Jesus became enlightened.

Basically when John the Baptist ducked him under water and he came up out of the water,

It said that the heavens opened up to him and a dove from heaven flew down and graced Jesus's presence.

And that's basically the same thing or the same description of enlightenment for many masters is that the heavens open up for you.

I know I say all this and it sounds great and grand and everything,

But you still have to basically forget everything I'm saying.

You know,

Don't think about what might happen or how beautiful it's going to be because in me just trying to describe it or anyone else trying to describe it,

It doesn't do it justice because there's so much that happens all at one time.

All at one moment you're bombarded with so much.

But the reason why you have to switch centers is because the real center can absorb it all.

The mind center could not absorb it all.

It can only take in maybe 5% of this experience.

So the shift has to be made.

It has to be done.

And that's,

I'm sorry,

That's just the way it has to be.

So what do I recommend?

I recommend basically just live your life.

Live life as completely full and in the present moment as much as totally possible.

And feel that benediction.

Once you start living in the present moment,

You really start to appreciate those moments for every single moment you get.

So anyway,

Live for the moment,

Live totally.

I think Lao Tzu would even say live totally.

But switch centers,

Switch from the mind center to the real conscious center.

I know it sounds scary,

But it's just a jump that has to be made at some point.

If you wish to experience enlightenment or samadhi or even no mind,

Just experiencing no mind,

Just the first level is just so brilliant and so beautiful.

And it gives you so much bliss to escape from the mind and realize that there's a different way to live that's not all stressful and anxiety-ridden and everything like that.

So okay guys and girls,

Thanks for joining me.

I really appreciate all your time.

And I know I went on a few more minutes after I said I was going to quit,

But that happens sometimes.

But anyway,

I want to say thank you again to all my followers and friends and family on Facebook and YouTube that listen to these recordings I'm making for Insight Timer as well.

But thank you very much and take care of yourselves.

And Merry Christmas.

I think this recording will get put out right before Christmas,

So that's good timing.

Anyway,

Take care of yourselves.

Have a good one.
