Welcome back once again my friends.

Thank you again for joining me.

It's so nice to have you here and listening in on these insightful talks that I try to transpire through the wisdom I've gained throughout the years.

But anyway,

I wanted to talk a little bit about God's capacity.

And what I mean by that is,

Let's just say for instance that God evolved and is evolving as we evolve.

Because basically in a sense we are godliness.

We are God's eyes,

We're God's ears,

And God's hands and feet and all those other things that were just a small part of something very big.

But existence needs you.

Existence feels you are so important that if you were gone or even let's say the smallest even minute insect was missing from the world then the world would be different.

I know it doesn't seem like that but Lao Tzu basically said that we are all interconnected.

We are interjoined and interconnected.

So in a sense everything plays a role.

The trees wouldn't exist without us,

Without animals,

And the animals wouldn't exist without the trees.

It's this Taoistic approach towards life that everything is just working to benefit the other and it works in perfect harmony.

So if God is evolving,

I think what Jesus kind of interpreted this in the Bible is,

As Jesus was trying to bring in something new,

The Judaic law,

Of course they had Moses and Moses brought in the law.

And the law was beautiful and had all these commandments and what you should do and what you shouldn't do.

But Jesus brought something new into it.

And I think in the New Testament,

I can't remember where I read it,

But in the New Testament it says that Jesus told his followers that you don't put new wine into old wine skins and vice versa.

You don't put old wine into new wine skins.

And I think what Jesus was meaning by that was that the scriptures of his time were not really outdated but something new had to be added.

Because in a way,

God in Jesus' time was evolving.

And now we are trying to bring love into the equation of not just the law but love and law.

But in a way the law has to come first.

And once all the laws are laid down,

Then love can easily slide in and take prevalence over any void that was left out by Moses.

So this newness that comes in,

And it's a shame that basically they shut the door.

The Protestant and Catholic religions have basically shut the door to any new teachings.

At the end of the Bible,

I think the very last verses in Revelation says that you cannot add to or take anything away from the Bible or what was written in this text.

And if you do,

Then you're going to be tormented in hell and all this damnation and all this crazy stuff like that.

But that kind of ruined it for Christianity.

Even though if you go to the bookstore nowadays,

There are more Christian books here in America than there are any other religion.

The Buddhist section is very small.

The Jewish section is a little bit bigger but small in comparison to the Christian section.

But all these authors are commentating and writing about their versions of what they think is going on in the Bible.

But I guess they're not trying to add to or take to what's written in the Bible.

They're just trying to define better and help you have a better definition to help the readers to understand exactly what they meant so many years ago.

And that's going to hurt the Christian religion and the Judaic religions down the road because if nothing can be added,

God is evolving even if they don't realize it or not,

That His love and His teachings keep growing.

What we learned as children,

Like beautiful songs that we used to listen to growing up,

Each song has kind of a life of its own.

And you don't just keep listening to the same song over and over and over and over.

It will just drive you nuts.

There are some songs out there that stand the test of time and they're just classics that will always be good.

And of course if you just listen to that one song all the time,

It will wear you out and you'll lose interest and its vibrancy will kind of fade away.

So in a sense we don't have to add to what the Bible says.

We can actually label it something else.

We can label it as Zen teaching,

Zen Buddhist teaching,

Or we could say this is a Taoist teaching.

But all these teachings revolve around the same thread.

The thread that holds all these beads together and each bead is basically a religion in itself.

And each bead is tied together through a common thread and we call that thread God.

But each of these religions have their own masters within that religion that someone who you could call a mystic.

And when I say a mystic I mean somebody who has attained something but they can't really tell you exactly how they attained it.

And if they even tried to it would fall short in words because trying to describe something that beautiful and that enormous is just almost impossible to do.

Even though we try.

A lot of us do try.

Even though J.

Krishnamachari and several others have said that it can't be done.

You can't explain this mystical encounter that happens with the divine.

The divine that's within all of us and is a part of each one of us.

When you come face to face with it then your life changes and it's this mystical occurrence.

If you go back into a couple of my other recordings I may have given you the history of what happened to me and how I was transformed from basically a lost surfer into a budding flower.

It sounds contradictory in terms that we have this experience that we know and we've experienced it but describing it becomes an impossibility.

And not only that but in a way it's kind of like taking a flashlight and shining it in someone's eyes and saying hey do you see the light and it's just blinding you and you can't see nothing and your eyes and your pupils get all dilated and you're like oh back off you know.

And you chill out a little bit so in a way it's a little bit pushy to try to push that light you could call it onto another person.

We can do everything we can to be like a catalytic agent and if you know what a catalyst is it's just something that helps start the fire.

It's something that helps get something going and gets something moving and the mystic role as a catalyst is very tricky you could say.

So the best thing to have is to have a master in whatever which way you like to lean whether towards the east or to the west inward outward in surrender or being aggressive whatever your style is.

To find a master a living master is probably the best thing you can probably do and to help you in your search and help you along your path.

A master might even be might tell you that hey maybe this path isn't meant for you maybe you have more of a feminine mind and being able to surrender something might be your path you don't know.

There's so many different ways and so many different things to take in and these masters have a certain newness about them while they're alive.

It's dangerous to go to a master because in a way you have to give up something of yourself.

You have to die and as part of you has to die your ego has to die in order for your soul to blossom.

So a part of you has to go in order for the new to come and the master's job is just to assist that because he can't give you.

Nobody can give you enlightenment.

Nobody can help you to be born again.

Nobody can help you to be born twice or whatever you want to call it or coming home or whatever whatever definition you want to give it.

They can guide you and kind of point the way out but you've got to be the one that takes the step and as you get higher and higher in the path and you go deeper deeper into meditation.

You'll find that maybe you don't have as many friends as you used to have because as you get higher you have to drop things.

Anything that's weighing you down,

Anything that's negative,

Anything that pulls from your life and is hindering you from this path you have to drop.

So as you get higher in the peak you feel a little bit more lonely in a certain sense but as that loneliness comes in then you have this new centering,

This new spiritual centering where you feel godliness is taking over where the ego left off.

And the master can take you so far.

He can almost take you all the way to the top but like I said he's not going to carry you.

And if a master agrees to carry you for a certain amount of money or proprietary gain or something then the guy's a con artist.

The master can't carry it.

No one can carry anyone up to those heights and even if they did they would rob you of your own effort,

The own time that you put into it and what you had to do to get to that point is very important.

And you'll remember that later on in life because those are the things that you're going to share with those who come under your masterhood one day when you become a master if you haven't already.

One of my favorite things to do when I wake up every day is to read some spiritual works from either Osho or Alan Watts or anytime I get a chance to sit down and listen to a recording or basically anything that reminds me of this centering that I have and helps me to have motivation through the day to focus on that centering and keep that center still.

And not to be pulled to the periphery.

Not to be pulled off center and into stress and into anxiety and into depression or any of those things that can exist on the outside.

But like I said having a master,

An alive master,

Is very beneficial.

Like I said Osho and Alan were very great and very wise and it's really cool to listen to everything they've got to say but they're not here to answer your questions anymore.

From now on they can't add anything new.

They may add something new into your life but not into their lives and what they've shared.

And there are countless hours of recordings of Alan Watts basically out there for the public to listen to for free.

And you can get anything of Osho's also off of YouTube.

So I guess I'm blabbering on but what I'm trying to get at is that each of us is evolving every day.

And what's new today and what comes into our lives and becomes new into our lives can brighten it and help you grow for a certain period.

But then you're going to grow beyond Alan Watts.

You're going to grow beyond Osho and you're going to need to speak to or listen to someone who is alive.

Someone that's still here.

Even after maybe after I'm gone you have to find somebody that can fulfill and answer questions that you may never get answered from someone who's already passed.

Somebody's already passed away.

And in Jesus' day they referred to wine as basically their body of work.

Their teaching and absorbing that wine or drinking that wine.

We call it divine wine when you meditate.

When you get into a deep meditation you come out of it and you're just drunk.

You're full of bliss and you're drunk.

Sometimes I've been so drunk and full of bliss after meditation that I would lie on the floor for like 45 minutes to an hour just not able to get up or anything.

Totally just soaked in bliss.

So the whole reason I brought this whole topic up about the wineskins and having new teachings to help you is because we're all evolving.

And even myself,

Something happened recently actually yesterday that I thought it would be real important to share with you guys.

So we have a real good friend that we drum with.

My girlfriend and I,

We have a Jim Bay drum circle at our house a couple weeks out of every month.

And one of the drummers,

Her husband had cancer.

And he had cancer for about three years now and he just got worse and worse.

We got the sad news yesterday that he passed away.

And we went to visit her at her house and comfort her and try to help her pass this time.

But I had to tell her that in a way,

For some reason,

If you knew me in this life or if you loved me or if you loved one of the things I do like skydiving or surfing,

If you were adamant into one of those things,

Then for some reason I get a visitation when you leave.

For some reason everybody just stops.

And it's not like a haunting.

It's just someone saying,

Hey,

I'm here.

And this usually happens right as I'm falling asleep at night.

And I've had some pretty scary things happen to me in the past.

And things that just startle me and then I finally get back to sleep.

But it's a little hard to get back to sleep after people whisper things into your ears.

And then the next day or something will happen and what they whisper came true.

And it's just very interesting.

And I've realized the basically the upper levels of the highest crown chakra and the third eye and the throat all have to do with more to do with the afterworld or the afterlife,

The spiritual world.

It's all a part of us.

So we inside of ourselves,

Inside of our beings,

Have this earthly animal section to us.

Then we also have this spiritual part of us that's like below,

Everything below the heart chakra is more to do with our physical bodies and our emotional bodies and intellectual bodies.

And everything above the heart has to do with tying into the spiritual world.

And I've really dove into this deeply myself and experienced things like having my throat chakra open up and then my third eye open up.

And when those things happen,

That's when I became attuned to spiritual energy.

As like I said,

As friends pass away,

Then I get a visitation.

And it seems like the more you knew me,

The closer you were to me,

The more powerful the visitation is.

And it's,

I know it sounds a little bit crazy to share these kind of things.

And it's really kind of hard for me to share them also because I worry what the public will think of me.

But this is my contribution to the lineage of masters that have come before me and trying to explain what goes on and how it's all tied together with our beings.

So yeah,

So you're tied in from,

And what grounds you in this life is your lower chakras.

They keep you grounded in life and that grounding is definitely necessary.

And then your upper three chakras are tying you into the spiritual world.

It's just that nobody ever really has gone that deep into meditation and brought these things back.

I mean,

Yeah,

There's drug addicts out there that have experienced higher realms and basically they didn't know what they were doing.

They were amateurs.

They had no comprehension as to what they were seeing or what it meant or what it means.

But anyway,

I knew when Richard died,

When Rachel's husband Richard died yesterday,

That I was going to get visited that night.

And so I kind of tried to put it out of my mind and just relax and go to sleep.

And as I was drifting off,

Sure enough,

What happened this time was very powerful.

My whole body started shaking,

Like vibrating at first.

And this lasted for almost a whole minute.

And then this is real heavy vibration and shaking and my body started shaking.

And I could feel his energy,

Richard's energy coming into me and using me as a portal to go as high as he could go,

I guess.

And basically as I felt those energies come into me,

Then I opened up my throat chakra and I opened up my third eye chakra.

And I basically took Richard as far as I could up to the crown.

And that's as high as you can go,

Or as high as anybody can help you go.

So I feel like I basically dropped off Richard at God's doorstep and it's up to him to do whatever comes next.

I don't know what comes next personally.

All I know is that I can,

For some reason,

I have the ability to see these things and help others along the path somehow.

So in a way,

I'm trying to pour new wine skin into new wine skin flask into you guys and you girls and basically help you understand that everything is tied together.

Everything's interconnected as Lao Tzu said.

And as Jesus says here,

We cannot imbibe all these old teachings and expect to still evolve.

We have to open ourselves up to being new and to new experiences.

No matter what happens,

You just have to basically trust that existence has you cradled and will always take care of you.

And as long as you have this centering,

This spiritual centering in you,

You're going to be okay.

You never worry about tomorrow.

That's something out of the Bible again,

But it still applies today that what Jesus was saying is you have to live in the moment.

You have to have the trust and existence that will allow you,

Even if you're way in debt,

Even if you have major medical problems,

You're going to be okay.

Existence has you.

It always has had you.

It's just this trust issue that is hard to grasp and hard to comprehend it all.

That basically God has your back and He has always had your back.

No matter what you've been through or how hard life has been,

When it rains,

It rains on everything.

The good,

The just,

And the unjust.

And that's out of the Bible too,

All these old teachings.

But some of them still apply today.

I'm not beating down your door every day with the same scripture,

The same talk,

Every time.

I try to vary it up and talk about different subjects and different masters and different approaches.

This is just another approach.

The one I'm giving you tonight is just another approach to help you keep this new centering that you've obtained.

If you haven't obtained this new centering,

Then there's a few tracks I've already laid down here on Insight Timer that help you get into that groove and get that going in your life and feel that new vibration,

That new centering.

The new centering is beautiful because all these outside actions,

All these negativity or positive things,

They approach from the periphery and they try to get to the center,

But the center never moves if you're on that center.

Because if you're on the center,

Basically you are godliness.

Because the two entities can't be on the center at the same time.

So you submit to godliness and godliness kind of takes over and helps run your life and helps you to do things and cope in life that you normally would never even try to tackle yourselves.

Because of the complexity or the fear that's involved in all of that.

But this is all about forgetting fear and getting over fear and getting over greed and living for the day,

Living the moment,

And accept new teachings from new masters if you're able to.

Anyway,

I guess I got the point across.

It took me probably 15 minutes to express such a small thought.

But anyway,

Guys and girls,

Thank you again for joining me.

It's been wonderful talking with you and I hope maybe one day we get to do a live session or something where we can share our intimate feelings and get your questions answered if you have questions that you might find.

Anyway,

Leave me a comment if you liked this talk.

If you didn't,

That's okay.

Like I said,

I'm not for everyone.

But namaste to all you beautiful people out there.

Aloha and mahalo to all my surfing friends and blue skies to all my skydiving friends.

Take care yourselves.

Bye bye.
