One of the scariest things that ever happened to me was to feel anxiety.

I faced many dangers and many exhilarating things in life,

But anxiety is something I wouldn't want my worst enemy to ever have to experience.

I jump out of planes,

I skydive,

I surf,

I do many exhilarating things,

I snowboard,

I've launched off the highest mountains that you could think of and the steepest cliffs you could think of.

I've jumped off and landed them and just felt no fear,

No anxiety,

No nothing.

With sleeping problems that I have,

I do feel anxiety sometimes when I can't sleep.

When you think that the more tired you get,

The more easy it would be to fall asleep and to get to sleep.

But what happens is your body works differently.

Your clock in your body gets messed up and you find it actually harder and harder and insomnia sets in and it's a really horrible thing to have to experience.

So I can understand and relate with those who have had anxiety or have experienced it and are experiencing it right now.

So we'll dive into it a little bit.

One thing to do is to try to figure out is your anxiety caused by your mind or is it a chemical imbalance in your body?

Either way we can address both of those things today.

If it is a chemical imbalance in your body,

Then medication can help.

So don't deny your body of the medication that it could need to help it.

I know there are side effects to some medicines like that and we don't like that.

So if we dive into the esoteric and dive into meditation and alleviate the mind part of this and just deal with the body part,

We can change the body's chemistry subtly,

Very subtly by meditating and becoming centered.

That also works on the mind part of anxiety too.

If it's in your head that you can't sleep or you're feeling anxious and anxiety-ridden.

Like I said,

We can deal with that as well.

So psychiatrists go into the situation,

Into your problem of anxiety by going into the basement,

By dealing with what is in your subconscious or your unconscious and approaching it from that level.

Whereas myself or other mystics like myself try to deal with things in a higher level.

We try to bring your consciousness and your awareness and your centering to a point where your mind can become still.

And when the mind is still,

The anxiety disappears unless it's a chemical.

Now if it's a chemical imbalance in your body,

Like I said,

You should take medicine if you need to.

Like I said,

Don't deny your body a chance to have a normal essence about yourself and to feel normal around other people.

Because it can be very daunting having an anxiety attack around people.

And I have had friends that I was really close with that had to deal with these things and they had to take medication.

And medication does help,

But it does have a side effect.

So by meditation,

And when I say meditation,

Meditation and medication come from the same root words,

Which means to make you whole again,

To make you feel oneness and feel that wholeness again about you that you're not feeling when you're anxiety ridden.

So by meditating and being centered and being conscious and aware and practicing our awareness,

Practicing our consciousness,

And focusing on the present moment,

Then that pulls us out of our mind and pulls us out of this pull that you can't deal with the next moment that you have to face.

So if you're dealing with moment by moment,

Rather than day by day or minute by minute,

Moment by moment,

It changes you.

It makes you a different person.

It makes you realize that there really is no stress.

Time has this pull,

But it only has this pull when you're not feeling centered.

The mind exists on the periphery,

And anxiety pulls you to that periphery.

And then you'll feel,

You know,

Uncentered and you'll feel wobbly and maybe even a little bit dizzy or disoriented around people and stuff like that.

So yeah,

So we can address these things by being centered by taking medication if we can,

If it works for you.

Like I said,

If the medication is working,

A psychiatrist will deal with things in the subconscious and will deal with things by bringing them into the light.

A mystic has a different way of doing things,

And we bring things into the light because above consciousness there's super consciousness.

And the psychiatrist really doesn't know anything about super consciousness.

They may have heard of it in a book or something,

But they may call it hodgepodge and stuff like that.

But no,

Super consciousness is a higher level,

And that'll pull you out of the illnesses of the mind or illnesses of the body.

Being able to identify which ailment,

You know,

What is making you feel anxious or anxiety ridden,

That's the key element to find out whether it's chemical or whether it's in your head.

Either way,

You can still deal with it,

You can still get by and live a normal life.

Just going to take a little bit of work and a little bit of time.

But give yourself give yourself the blessing of that the give yourself the the grace and the the moment to experience life in its wholeness and its fullness.

Okay that's it for this recording.

Stay tuned for recording number two.
