Starting your morning with intention can transform the way you move through your day. In this meditation, you’ll be gently guided to tune into what you truly need, opening space to manifest it or recognize it when it arises. With slow-paced guidance and nourishing silences, you’ll have time to listen inwardly and shape a meaningful intention for the day ahead. Repeat this practice daily, or whenever you feel called, to invite clarity, purpose, and joy into your life. image: Getty

A very good morning.

So in this session let's set an intention for the day ahead.

So first settle in your meditation posture.

Maybe you're laying down or sitting,

But really take a moment instead of just habitually sitting in a way that you always sit.

Just check with your body,

Check with your feet,

With your knees,

With your hips,

And just do a little scan of how does your body really feel pleasant right now.

Just have a little conversation with all your joints and get present already here.

And maybe you want to do any stretches or wiggles that make it possible for you to sit a bit more still in the next 10 minutes or so.

And you can have your eyes open or closed.

If you have your eyes open I would recommend you just have a soft gaze without focusing on anything.

You can look at the floor or a bit more in front of you.

And if you have your eyes closed that's fine too.

And then you can,

If you want to,

Take a few more deeper inhalations and exhalations and breathe in such a way that you're sort of smelling the air that's coming in through your nose.

So really have a kind of interested attunement to your breathing.

So we really want to slow down and check in,

Feel into the here and now.

Maybe you notice that the skin on your face can become a bit more soft.

Maybe your shoulders are able to relax down a bit more.

And just take a moment to enjoy sitting peacefully or laying.

Maybe you can have a sense of gratitude,

However small or big,

For just being able to sit here in peace.

And then what I invite you to do is to ask a question.

Ask a question and aim it deep down into the well of your own source.

And then you can just let go of your thoughts.

Ask a question and aim it deep down into the well of your own source.

What do I want to manifest or make possible today?

What do I want to find?

And have this intention of really sending this question down into the depth.

And rather than thinking of an answer,

Just place the question and then just take another breath again and let any inspiration,

Rather than going and grabbing something,

Just let it bubble up like a bubble of air to the surface of your mind.

So just you want to send your intention down into your depth.

And then for a few minutes we're going to just sit in silence and allow the intelligence that is working for you all the time beneath the surface to come up with an answer by itself.

And if you notice your mind is trying to create an answer,

Just notice it and be happy that you notice it because that noticing is mindfulness.

But just ignore it,

We're not creating an answer,

We're just being available for an answer.

And if you want you can ask the question a few times,

Just dropping in little coins in the wishing well of our being.

And as you remain receptive for an answer,

Have a kind of spacious awareness,

Not just your body,

But also the space that you are in,

The space around you.

And if an answer doesn't come or hasn't come,

That's perfectly fine,

An answer might come later.

You have asked the question,

What do I want to manifest,

What do I want my day to be like today?

So just trust that your deeper being has heard that and will come with an answer.

And at the same time I want to give you a chance to ask yourself a few questions.

One different way of relating to intention and caring for yourself today and that is by just checking in with your body and your mind as an organism.

So just realize that you are living in and as an organism,

The human animal,

And just have this perspective on yourself as your body-mind-human-organism-being,

As if from the outside,

And just look at your life,

At your past week,

At the week that's coming,

And just get a sense of the state that you are in,

Your body is in,

Your organism is in.

And tune into that being that you are from the perspective of somebody who deeply cares for all the needs of that being being met.

Needs for safety,

Need for communication,

Being heard,

Enjoyment,

Happiness,

Nourishment,

Presence,

Expansion,

Adventure,

Curiosity,

All the needs that are alive in the heart of your being.

And just with this perspective of somebody deeply caring for this being,

What do you notice that that you are needing,

That this being that you are is needing?

So just have this empathic scan of yourself and then just notice what needs come up that you might want to include in your day-to-day.

So by now perhaps one or a few bubbles of intention have made themselves known to you,

And maybe you have touched on some needs that you are aware of wanting to take care of today.

And so I invite you for today to just have a look at yourself,

And so I invite you for the last part of this session to formulate these needs and this intention into a wish for yourself.

And if nothing has come up yet then you can simply have an intention to be attuned to receiving this intention and to receive the awareness of the needs that are alive in you.

So with either option or a combination of those,

Just take a moment now to to make an intentional connection to this need and to wish it for yourself.

And then I invite you to find an end.

This is the end of the meditation.

I wish you a beautiful day.

This is lovely and very helpful. At times I struggle to find my intention. This guided me, allowing the intention to find me.

This was so helpful. The intention bubbled up. I especially appreciated looking upon myself as an organism and considering its needs. Thank you.
