Hello and welcome to this dynamic breathwork journey.

My name is Natasha Thompson of The Well Canada and today I will be your guide through a short but very powerful practice in boosting energy,

Enhancing mental clarity,

Expanding creativity,

And inviting aliveness back into the parts of yourself that may have been feeling stagnant for some time.

To begin,

Please come to find any comfortable seated position where your back body can be long and straight and upright.

For dynamic breathwork experiences,

It's always recommended to sit close to the floor and to use a wall or strong support to rest your back body against in the off chance that you feel lightheaded or dizzy as we move through this practice.

Together we will move through four rounds of dynamic breathing.

In through the nose and out through the mouth.

Follow the guidance of my voice as I set the pace.

The key to deepening this practice,

The way that you will get the most out of it,

Is by making your inhales intentional.

What this means is that as you take your inhalation,

As you breathe in,

You will access the deepest parts of your lung tissue.

Down into the abdomen,

Into the pelvic bowl you will send your breath.

Try this now,

Taking a couple of really deep breaths in through the nose,

Accessing all the way into the belly,

Even exaggerating or inflating the stomach as you breathe in.

And then as you breathe out through the mouth,

Just send all of the air out at once.

When you're ready,

Close your eyes down and we will begin this practice in three,

Two,

One.

Breathe in through the nose,

Out through the mouth.

In,

Out.

In,

Out.

In,

Out.

Pick up the pace.

In,

Keep going just like this.

Yes,

You can do this.

Yes,

You are capable of this.

Keep breathing.

In through the nose,

Out through the mouth.

Ten,

Nine,

Keep going,

Eight,

Seven,

Take a deep breath in through the nose.

Fill up,

Fill up.

Hold full,

Hold full,

Hold full.

All the breath inside of you.

Holding full for three,

Two,

One.

Exhale all that air out and away.

Breathe out,

Breathe out,

Breathe out.

Squeeze your belly back to your spine,

Wring out,

Clench your fists,

Furrow your brow,

Contract your belly.

Holding,

Wringing like a sponge everything out of the body for three,

For two,

For one.

Breathe in and breathe out.

Second round.

Accessing deep into the belly.

Breathing in through the nose,

Out through the mouth.

Starts in three,

Yes,

You can do this.

The lightheadedness you may be feeling,

The tingling sensation in your limbs,

It's all welcome.

When's the last time you felt this much?

Keep breathing.

You've got this.

In through the nose,

Out through the mouth.

Five,

Four,

Three,

Two,

One.

Take a deep breath into the body.

Breathe in,

Breathe in,

Breathe in,

And hold full.

Hold full.

Let all of that air,

All of that fullness and wholeness underneath the container of your skin,

Every muscle being nourished.

For three,

Two,

One.

Exhale all that air out and away.

Breathe out,

Breathe out,

Breathe out,

And squeeze the belly back to the spine,

Empty completely.

Contract all of your muscles.

Squeeze the fists.

Press the back of the head into the surface behind you.

Ring out through the belly and the abdomen.

Emptiness,

Nothingness,

Squeezing anything that's not serving out and away.

For five,

Four,

Three,

Two,

One.

Breathing in,

Cleansing breath,

And a long exhale out.

Third round.

Yes,

You can do this.

Breathing in through the nose,

Out through the mouth,

Deeply into the belly.

Starts in three,

Yes,

You can.

You are the one that can heal this body.

You are the one that can invite more energy.

You were brought here to be healthy.

This is how you move towards that.

Keep breathing.

Keep breathing.

You've got this.

Everything you've got for five,

Four,

Three,

Two,

One.

Take a deep breath into this body.

Fill up your lungs all the way to your collarbone.

Fill up,

Fill up,

Fill up,

And hold full.

Let yourself be nourished by all of the air,

All of the fullness within you.

Holding full for three,

For two,

For one,

And then exhaling it all away.

Breathe out,

Breathe out,

Breathe out.

Empty completely.

Squeeze the belly back to the spine.

Let all of the stagnant air leave your body and clench your fists.

Squeeze the muscles of your face.

Tighten your arms to the sides of your body.

Contract.

Ring out like a sponge.

All of the organs,

All of the tissues.

Holding empty just like this.

The contraction before the expansion in three,

Two,

One.

Breathing in,

Breathing in,

And breathing out.

Let it go.

Let it go.

Last round.

You've made it.

This is the moment to push past the resistance and show yourself what you're made of.

Deeply in and out through the nose starts in three,

Two,

One.

In.

Out.

In.

Out.

In.

Out.

In.

Pick up the pace.

In.

Continue with this breathing.

You've got this.

This is the point of no return.

There is no holding back now.

Something beautiful waits on the other side of this experience,

And you deserve that.

Dig deep.

This is the time.

Breathing here for five,

Four,

Three,

Two,

One.

Take a deep breath in.

Breathe in.

Breathe in.

Breathe in.

Fill up.

Expand your chest.

Expand your belly.

Hold full.

Let yourself be breathed here.

Bathe in the fullness of having everything you need inside of you.

Holding full for five,

Four,

Three,

Two,

One.

Exhale it all the way.

Breathe out.

Breathe out.

Breathe out.

Find that contraction of the muscles through the fists,

The toes,

The face,

The belly.

Squeeze.

Squeeze.

Contracting here.

Three,

Two,

One.

Relax.

Breathe in.

Breathe out.

You made it.

Regulate your breathing.

Relax the muscles of the body,

Of the face.

And tune into the subtleties of what you can now understand deep within you.

The sensations.

The feelings.

They are all here for you.

Stay here for as long as you feel.

Letting the music carry you.

Letting the body be your guide.

Return back to this practice daily or whenever you feel you could use a boost.

Wow! The best breath work meditation I’ve ever used! During the ending phase I stopped breathing. I didn’t hold my breath, I just stopped. I don’t know for how long but it was very relaxing. Thank you!🙏🏼 ☮️
