I will begin with guiding us in a time of practice and then we will let the rest of the time be silent for you to continue resting in the silence in the presence of God.
And the time of silence will end with the sound of three gongs.
So let's begin with becoming present in our bodies,
Just relaxing into being with what is here and now.
Don't try to do anything special or to be especially spiritual or sacred.
Just relax where you are.
Allow yourself to find an ease in how you are sitting.
And notice if any thoughts come up about what you should be doing,
How you should be doing it.
Whether you are getting this right,
Whatever.
As you notice these thoughts arising,
Just recognize them and very gently let them go.
And allow yourself to ease back into the gentleness of the silence that remains whenever we let go of what the mind is saying to us.
Feel this silence in your body,
Gently open to the silent presence of the One who is always here.
And secret holding of our lives in being,
By the source of all being.
Don't get caught up in these words.
Just allow yourself to almost melt into the silence.
Feel into this unboundaried holding vastness.
Feel how everything is enveloped and supported in this quiet immense presence.
Rest there.
UNE More thoughts will arise,
That's fine.
Again just gently let them go.
Like shrugging off an unwanted layer of clothing and return to the simplicity of just being.
In silence.
With an ease and a restfulness like a child at rest.
And so keep allowing yourself to settle into this quiet resting in God in the silence.
Again if you notice any thoughts stream or any stories you're telling yourself about yourself or anybody else.
Or sense of what you're going to be doing next after this,
Any of that.
Just gently let these go and feel how it feels in your body to be in this quiet open receptive place.
This is the place where you receive your belovedness directly from God without the need for words.
Being bathed in the vast quiet holding ocean of love.
So for the rest of this time in silence when you find your mind caught up in any form of thinking.
Keep letting go very simply and gently and return to resting in God in quiet open childlike trust.
Like a child at rest in its parents arms.
And so keep letting go very simply and return to rest in God's presence.
And letting go very simply and return to rest in God's presence.
Thank you.
