Welcome to Grounded Earth Magic.
My name is Aubrey.
Today we're just going to do a quick 10 minute exercise.
It can be done any time of day.
Preferably first thing in the morning before you jump into the chaos of the day.
But really any time you make time for yourself is not a bad thing.
Sit or lie down comfortably.
Whichever makes the most sense for you right now.
And in order to get the most out of this practice it's best to make sure you are free of all distractions.
That way you can fully commit the next 10 minutes to finding the stillness that you can use to carry forward into your day.
Now when you're ready start by taking a couple of slow deep breaths.
It doesn't matter how you breathe.
The point is that it feels refreshing.
And it feels intentional.
And when you're done just allow your breath to go back to a comfortable steady rhythm.
Now bring your awareness to your body.
What does it feel like?
How does the weight of your body feel against the chair or the bed beneath you?
With each exhale imagine yourself sinking deeper and deeper into your body.
You can actually feel gravity holding you so firmly and so securely to the earth.
Without taking the time to be aware of this gravity you can end up feeling lost and scattered into a million pieces all over the world.
But you can call those pieces back.
Feel the gravity in your pull to the earth.
Allow it to pull your shoulders down.
Allow the muscles in your face,
Your forehead,
Your ears,
Jaw,
Your lips,
Your chest and your shoulders.
Your center of being which can either be your heart or your solar plexus in the middle of your stomach.
Allow everything to just drop.
Feel your sacrum right below your belly button and your root at the base of your spine.
Allow your legs,
Your thighs,
Your knees,
Your calves,
Ankles,
Feet,
Toes,
Your legs,
Your shoulders.
Allow all the stress and all the weight to just drop.
Allow yourself to just be here and to be present in this moment.
You might feel tingling throughout your body.
You can feel it in your fingers,
Your wrists,
Your arms,
Your cheeks,
The center of your forehead and the top of your crown.
Everything is in perfect alignment.
Perfect balance,
Perfect stillness.
No past distracting you from your present.
No future,
Just right now.
Everything is okay.
You are safe and you are strong and you are brave and you are worthy of love.
You are worthy of success.
You are worthy of happiness.
You are worthy of excitement and adventure.
You're worthy of peace and calm to carry you through your days.
The more often you practice coming back to this place of stillness,
The easier it will be for you to come back here during any period,
Any moments of stress or overwhelm,
Sensory overload,
Whatever it is.
You can always,
Always come back here.
By using the breath and becoming aware of your body and the stillness of the present moment.
You stay here for another couple minutes before I call you back.
You are safe and you are worthy of happiness.
And before you come back,
Energetically show spirit.
The universe,
Whatever you want to call it,
Send out gratitude for this moment.
Now you can wiggle your toes and your fingers and your hands.
Loosen your shoulders.
Stretch out your legs.
Stretch your arms and your body.
And pull the energy down to your chest.
