Starting your day with five minutes to yourself.

When you're ready taking a comfortable seat or lying down and just start to notice how you are feeling.

Is there anywhere in your body that you could soften and let go to feel a little bit more comfortable?

Releasing legs and feet,

Releasing shoulders and arms down to the fingertips and relaxing the head,

Softening the jaw and softening the space in between the eyebrows.

Start to notice your breath flowing in and flowing out.

Notice the nature of your breath as you breathe in,

A sense of uplift,

Rising,

Expansion.

And as you breathe out a sense of surrender,

Release and settling into your own skin,

Your body.

And as you softly breathe in and out,

Is there space for you to breathe in and out?

A little longer,

A little deeper,

Soothing our system.

And the next time that you breathe in and out is the space to soften that breath.

Slowly and softly breathing in and out.

And with that gentle softness,

Can we start to soften anywhere that you may have started to tense in your body?

Shoulders,

Jaw,

Space in between the eyebrows,

Eyeballs,

Eyelids.

Perhaps you might invite a soft gentle smile across your face,

Space in between the eyebrows.

And as we softly breathe in and out,

A sense of appreciation for the breath.

Don't worry if your mind wanders off.

Believe that you may have wandered off and guide yourself back to breathing.

The breath is our guide to our centre.

The breath is our guide back home to ourself.

Arriving back,

Notice your fingers and toes and next inhale just gently start to wriggle them.

Gently start to bring movement to the head and then on your next inhale just start to take a full body stretch and perhaps cover the eyes and blink the eyes open if they were closed.

Welcoming yourself back into your day.

Thank you for practicing,

Enjoy your day,

Take care,

Bye.
