Namaste,

The light in me bows and acknowledges the light within you.

So today we are going to be visiting all our chakras through a chakra meditation where we see the divine within.

So when you are ready lets find a comfortable seat position.

If you find it difficult to sit perhaps on the floor,

Pop some cushions underneath you or even do this on a chair.

It definitely works better to do this when seated but if it really feels uncomfortable at any point do feel free to lie down.

When you are ready lets find that comfortable seat position and I will meet you there.

So in this meditation as you find a comfortable seat we are going to be placing our attention carefully at certain points in our body visualising through colours,

Through sound,

Whichever suits or resonates with you the most today and that might be different at each chakra point.

And after each sound that we invoke through a mantra or visualisation of a colour notice what arises,

Memories,

Thoughts,

Taking that time to listen within.

So as you settle in noticing anywhere that you may want to move to feel that a little bit more comfortable.

Bringing your attention to your seat,

Through your spine and as you inhale you might find space to sit a little taller.

And as you breathe out allowing the shoulders to relax softening the shoulders,

The jaw to find a comfortable but upright seated position.

And take a few moments to find that comfortable seat,

Take a few moments to connect to your rhythm and pace of breath.

Slowing it down as when we slow our breath down consciously we slow down and as we slow down we signal to our system,

To our body,

To our self that we are ready to relax.

We connect to our rest and digest part of our nervous system.

Nice and as you find that comfortable seat,

Earthed and grounded in your seat but at the same time floating and fluid through your spine.

As you inhale you might imagine sitting taller or feeling that sense of floating as you raise up float up.

And as you exhale feeling the breath flow out,

Feeling the energy flowing down,

Back down to your base to your spine.

Exhale a flow of energy flowing up and exhale an energy of flowing down.

You might visualise that breath or you might just feel that breath flowing up and down.

Nice and as you visualise that breath the next time that you breathe out,

Bringing your focus and attention now onto your tailbone,

Your root.

And when you next inhale drawing the breath down to the spine to the tailbone and as you exhale visualising the colour red and continuing that within your own pace of breath and inhale draw the energy down towards the root to the tailbone and exhale a radiant red visualising the colour red.

Perhaps if visuals aren't resonating with you today or you're not really seeing red at your roots you can invoke this chakra with the mantra LAM.

Placing the vibration of that mantra at the tailbone connecting to your root chakra.

You can say this out loud if you feel comfortable to or you might say it silently to yourself.

LAM LAM LAM LAM LAM LAM LAM.

And then taking a deep breath in and out,

Sitting with silence,

Stillness,

Listening inwards to thoughts,

To memories,

What arises.

And now starting to bring your focus and attention to your lower belly,

The seat of the second chakra.

And as you inhale,

Bring your attention to that lower abdomen,

Feeling your lower belly soften.

And as you exhale you might see or visualize the colour orange.

Inhale into the belly,

Softening the belly,

Feeling it expand.

And exhale visualizing the colour orange.

And again if that colour orange is not resonating with you right now,

Perhaps invoking through the mantra,

Vam,

V-a-m,

Vam,

Vam,

Vam,

Vam,

Vam,

Saying that out loud or silent to yourself or continuing to visualize the colour orange,

Connecting to your sacral chakra.

And now bringing your attention and letting go of the sound of the mantra,

Any focus,

Any attention onto colours.

Notice what arises,

Notice what thoughts or memories may float by.

Taking a deep breath in and a deep breath out.

Bringing your attention now to your solar plexus,

Your core space area.

The seat of our power,

Our confidence connecting to that self energy.

You might visualize the colour yellow as bright as the sun or you might choose to connect to the sound and mantra of our solar plexus,

Ram,

R-a-m,

Ram,

Ram,

Ram,

Ram.

Connecting to sound or visual.

Connecting to your solar plexus energy.

Taking a deep breath in,

Feeling the belly and chest expand.

Breathing out to let go of any focus and attention,

Listening inwards for thoughts and memories.

Listening in and out.

Now bringing your awareness to your heart center space as you inhale feeling the chest expand and as you exhale softening the chest.

Just inhale feeling your heart with love,

Attention,

Focus,

Breath.

The seat of our love,

Unconditional love,

Being able to receive and give love.

You might listen in closely to feel and hear your heartbeat.

You might visualize the colour green surrounding and intertwining with your heart space area.

You might choose to connect to the mantra and the sound of yam,

Y-a-m,

Yam,

Yam,

Yam,

Yam yam,

Yam,

Yam,

Yam,

Yam,

Yam.

Taking your time and taking a deep breath in and out.

Exhaling with silence and perhaps stillness to listen within what arises.

As you next breathe in bringing your awareness to the throat,

You might pause and hold the breath at the top before you exhale.

As you breathe in a deep crystal blue into that throat space area.

As if this crystal blue is bringing more clarity through the breath.

You might visualize this crystal blue or you might choose the mantra ham,

H-a-m,

Ham,

Ham,

Ham,

Ham.

Choosing which resonates with you the most of this chakra.

Crystal blue or the mantra ham.

Taking a deep breath in and out.

What arises memories or thoughts?

What arises feelings listening inwards?

And as you next breathe in now moving your awareness to the center of our brain,

Our third eye.

Perhaps you may focus your gaze to look in between your eyebrows with your eyes closed.

Imagining now a violet light at the center of the brow or behind your eyes.

Drawing all your vision to this spot.

Feeling the vibration of om waving through your head.

Om.

Continue with your waves of all or visualising the colour violet.

A dancing flame,

Like we did with our candle meditation,

But this time instead of yellow,

The flame is purple violet.

Taking a deep breath in,

And out listening and feeling inwards what's going on in your internal landscape.

Breathing in,

And out now starting to journey upwards to the crown of our head,

The thousand petal lotus.

Here at this thousand petal lotus,

Seeing a bright crystal and pure light shining onto the crown on top of your head.

As you inhale,

Drinking in,

Absorbing that crystal and pure light shining on the crown of your head,

All the way down to the base of your spine.

Breathing in that bright crystalline,

Pure light shining onto the crown of your head.

Breathing out radiating that light.

Visualising this light interweaving to every single cell of your body as you radiate this warmth and this bright crystalline,

Pure light.

You might start to visualise as you inhale from that thousand petal lotus to the base of your spine,

That light shining through.

And as you exhale from the root all the way up to the crown,

Drinking in that pure light.

And in this pure light radiating,

Releasing of all effort to feel,

To listen within.

You might choose to lie down for a final part of our practice,

Being still and journeying inwards,

Or you can stay seated.

Releasing of all effort,

Feeling,

Listening within,

Journeying through the internal or your internal landscape.

Next exhale to completely release,

To reside with the place and space within.

.

.

.

.

.

.

And as you gently bring yourself back,

Noticing your body,

Fingers,

Toes,

Legs and arms.

Inviting a deep breath in,

And out.

Gently bringing movement,

Perhaps bringing the hands over the eyes,

So just gently blink the eyes open,

Inviting light into the eyes.

Namaste.
