Hi,

So welcome to your affirmation meditation.

So this is a guided meditation intended for you to follow and be guided to affirm those affirmations,

Those intentions that I've listed for you in the electronic handout.

So when you're ready let's find that comfortable seat.

You can do it lying down in bed,

You can do it on the sofa or a chair or you can sit comfortably on the ground.

Finding a comfortable seat or lying down position.

Noticing your body and the contour that it has with the floor,

Your support that you're sat on.

And is there space to sink into that or shuffle about to feel that a little bit more comfortable.

If you're seated you might find that weight of your base,

The legs.

A gentle uplift through the spine,

The crown of the head as you find your centre.

And if you're lay down just allowing your entire body to surrender into the earth,

The floor.

As we arrive with our breath noticing the pace and depth of your breathing.

Noticing how you may feel right now physically,

Mentally,

Physically.

As we arrive breathing in,

Breathing out.

And in your mind just repeating to yourself the affirmation that you have chosen.

For example,

I am here and I would just repeat that to myself in my head silently or if you feel comfortable to you might repeat to yourself out loud.

Repeating your affirmation to yourself on the inhale and repeating to yourself softly on your exhale.

Feeling those words resonate with each time that you repeat that to yourself.

Those words softening in to your mind,

Softening into your body as you relax the shoulders,

Relax the jaw.

Relaxing the eyeballs,

The eyelids and the space in between the eyebrows.

Perhaps maybe you've already closed the eyes.

And arriving with that affirmation.

Deep breath in and deep breath all the way out.

When you're ready start to wriggle fingers and toes and placing the palms together and rubbing the hands together.

Creating some warmth and then placing those hands over the eyes.

Opening the eyes as we guide ourselves back.

Palms to the centre.

Inhale as we reach the arms up,

Take a big stretch and exhale release.

Hope you have a great day and keep up with your affirmations and you can repeat that affirmation any time throughout the day that you might find that you just have space to do so.
