This gentle introduction sets the tone for the full 52-week meditation series. In this welcoming audio, Jerry explains how the meditations were designed—with clarity, brevity, and accessibility in mind. Most sessions run 7–10 minutes, making them easy to integrate into daily life. You’ll hear guidance on how to settle into your posture, an explanation of why moments of silence are intentionally included, and optional ways to enrich your practice with nature soundscapes and reflection prompts. The introduction also describes how the meditations fit into a seasonal arc, offering a full-year journey, but with the flexibility to explore them in any order.

Hello,

I'm Jerry and thank you so much for taking time to listen to my guided meditations.

Whether you're returning to the practice or exploring it for the first time,

I'm grateful you're here.

As or if you decide to explore my offerings,

I thought it might be helpful to share a few things to keep in mind.

These meditations were created with both clarity and brevity in mind.

Most fall within the 7-10 minute range,

So they're short enough to fit into a busy day but still meaningful and grounding.

To keep things focused,

I've shortened some of the settling in guidance that I might typically offer in a live setting.

So here's a little context that may support you each time you sit down to practice.

Begin by finding a posture that feels both relaxed and alert.

You might rest your feet flat on the floor.

Keep your hands gently on your legs or lap,

Whatever feels comfortable for you.

And start by taking a nice full deep breath.

As you inhale,

Gently lift up from the crown of your head.

And as you exhale,

Let your shoulders soften and drop away from the body.

Then,

With the next inhale,

Feel the spine lengthen,

Just settling into the quiet dignity of being upright.

And on the exhale,

Release tension in the eyes,

The cheeks,

The forehead.

After that,

Just allow your breath to settle into its natural rhythm.

Throughout each meditation,

You'll notice periods of silence.

These are intentional.

During those pauses,

You're welcome to reflect on whatever prompt was offered or simply return to the breath and let yourself rest in the stillness.

Speaking of stillness,

I know silence can sometimes feel expansive,

Especially outside of a group or live setting.

So in the description of each meditation,

You'll find an optional Nature Soundscape recommendation,

Just something gentle to accompany your practice should you wish.

These can be easily accessed at the bottom of the track when using the app.

You'll also find three reflective prompts in each description,

Little invitations to take the practice further,

Whether through journaling or simple contemplation.

Should you choose to explore more than one meditation,

I hope the rhythm of sessions becomes familiar and comforting.

You're welcome to move through the meditations in whatever order best supports you.

That said,

I designed them as part of a complete 52-week seasonal series.

So in each description,

You'll see a note about where it falls within the calendar year and which track might be a natural next step,

Just in case you'd like to follow the seasonal arc.

Most of all,

I hope you enjoy these meditations and that they offer you moments of ease,

Perspective,

And presence in the midst of your days.

Thank you so much for being here.
