Welcome to this meditation to ease anxiety.

My name is Belle and I'll be guiding you through the next five minutes.

Begin by finding a comfortable seated position or laying down,

Allowing your spine to be straight yet relaxed.

Close your eyes gently and take a deep breath in through your nose,

Feeling your lungs expand with air.

Hold it for a moment and then slowly exhale,

Letting go of any tension you might be holding on to.

As you continue to breathe slowly and deeply,

Bring your awareness to the sensation of the breath entering and leaving your body.

Notice the gentle rise and fall of your chest or the subtle movement of your abdomen with each breath.

Allow yourself to be fully present in this moment,

Letting go of any thoughts about the past or worries about the future.

As you breathe,

Imagine a warm golden light surrounding you,

Like a cocoon of peace and tranquility.

This light is filled with soothing energy that eases any tension or anxiety you may be feeling.

With each inhale,

Visualize this light entering your body,

Filling you with a sense of calm and relaxation.

And with each exhale,

Release any stress or worries,

Allowing them to dissolve into the space around you.

Now bring your focus to your body.

Notice if there are any areas where you feel tension or discomfort.

As you continue to breathe,

Imagine that warm golden light focusing in on those areas,

Gently loosening the tightness and soothing any discomfort.

Feel the tension melting away,

Leaving you feeling lighter and more at ease.

As you stay connected to your breath and the comforting light surrounding you,

Repeat some affirmations silently to yourself.

I am safe and supported in this moment.

I release all that does not serve me.

I am capable of handling whatever comes my way.

Allow these affirmations to resonate within you,

Reinforcing a sense of inner peace and strength.

Remember it's okay to feel whatever emotions arise.

Acknowledge them without judgment and gently guide your focus back to your breath and the comforting light.

Now take a moment to express gratitude for this time that you've dedicated to yourself,

For the opportunity to let go of anxiety and to find peace within.

With one final deep breath in,

Slowly exhale.

When you're ready,

Gently opening your eyes.

Carry this sense of calm and tranquility with you as you go about your day,

Knowing that you can always return to this meditation whenever you need to ease anxiety and find inner peace.
