Om, or AUM, is a mantra or sound with high spiritual and creative power. Mantra means mind tool and it is a simply a vibration used to focus the mind. In this meditation experience the power of chanting several rounds of AUM, followed by periods of silence. The vibrations and rhythmic pronunication have a beneficial affect on our body and minds, by helping slow down the nervous system and calming the heart. It’s very beneficial for those with high blood pressure, or anyone who is feeling stressed. Listening without chanting is also effective.
