Find a comfortable seat.

Close the eyes and take some deep breaths in through the nose and out through the mouth.

And come back to breathing through the nose naturally.

And throughout this practice,

I invite you to use the voice of your mouth to breathe in through the nose.

And throughout this practice,

I invite you to use the voice of your mind to talk to yourself in a really gentle and kind way,

Like an old and wise friend would do with you.

Don't be harsh.

Be your best friend.

And call to mind what has happened today,

Starting from the morning till now.

And if you met setbacks,

Please give yourself a grade,

Again really kindly and with reason.

Did you act poorly or did you act with personal elegance and courage?

Patience.

And reflect not just on your behavior,

If you have been patient and brave,

But also on how clever were the solutions to the problems you faced.

And reflect on how when we lose our temper,

It's actually harder to find clever solutions.

And in a certain way,

It doesn't really matter that much what kind of solution we find if we lose our personal elegance,

Embrace,

Calm and peace.

And also reflect on how compassionate have you been today towards yourself and others.

Did you help someone?

Did you help yourself?

Did you give enough love to others and to yourself?

And if you did something badly,

What can you do to right this wrong?

And what can you do to avoid repeating this mistake in the future?

And set an intention,

A really strong decision to follow up with the solution you have found.

And what lessons did you learn today?

Even just one is fine.

And finally,

What are you grateful for today?

A person or an event,

An object?

And considering that you don't have control over life,

Appreciate how lucky you are to have this thing in your life that you can be grateful of.

And finally,

To conclude the practice,

Reflect on the fact that this exercise,

The fact that you decided to do this practice,

Is a sign of your love for yourself because you want to suffer less,

You want to learn from your life.

And also the love that you feel for the world and for others because you want to appreciate them and to learn how to entertain our relationship with them.

What you are doing now is precious and rare.

Not that many people take this time to reflect in this way.

You are a great soul and I wish you good luck.

A great stoic track for later in the evening, thank you. I have anxiety and depression and wouldn't say don't use it, but just be aware there's reflecting on points of the day you'd like to improve next time. The gratitude part is very important. Thank you.

Very soothing pace and thoughtfully prompts for reflection. I appreciated the disclaimer for those with anxiety/depression in the description as reflection on possible not so good events in the day can be counterproductive at times. I will come back to this one!🙏
