
Evening Gratitude - Wind Down With Peace

Relax deeply, with a heart full of gratitude with this soothing meditation that will guide you to a space of pure peace and awareness. In this practice, you will release tension from the whole body, expressing appreciation and love for each body part, as well as relax the mind with some gentle gratitude affirmations, reminding you of how much you already have and how whole you already are. Enjoy!

Welcome in this evening gratitude meditation.
Today we'll be relaxing the whole body and mind and expressing gratitude,
Opening the heart to the energy of appreciation and love for life.
Find yourself a comfortable position.
You can do this meditation already lying down in your bed or you can do it sitting down.
Listen to your body whatever feels comfortable right now.
Just make sure you won't be distracted.
When you're ready you can gently close your eyes and start connecting to your breath.
Listening to your breath as you inhale and exhale.
With each inhale inviting more peace.
With each exhale releasing any stress or tension of the day.
Making more space for relaxation.
For being truly present here and now.
And let's take now three deep cleansing breaths together as you are melting down to the earth.
Full inhale expand your belly and your chest.
Full exhale Just relax,
Release all stress.
And again taking a full deep breath as you expand and fill yourself up with peace.
And exhale.
And exhale.
Releasing all tension and heaviness of the day.
And one more time like this.
Inhale fill yourself with a fresh and nourishing energy.
Exhale.
Totally open and present.
Stay here just breathing,
Relaxing.
Observing your body from within.
After doing,
Thinking,
Walking today,
It's time now to simply just be.
Just be and enjoy this state of presence.
All right now we're going to relax the body a little bit more.
And then go through a few lovely gratitude affirmations to open your heart for appreciation.
Notice your body lying down or sitting.
Just with your inner awareness notice the position of your body.
Scan your body for any tension,
Any discomfort.
And with the help of your breath invite more space.
Relax through your feet.
Give some appreciation to your feet for carrying you,
For taking you to so many different places.
Appreciate your feet.
And then relax your legs.
Your right and your left leg.
Send gratitude to both of your legs for helping you walk and sit and run.
For helping you move from one place to another.
For keeping your whole body strong.
Softening through your glutes as well and your hips.
Let your hips relax.
Your groin and your inner thighs.
And then your belly as you keep taking deep inhales to the space of your belly as it expands.
And relaxing as you exhale.
Appreciating your belly and all your digestive organs.
Appreciating your core for keeping your torso nice and straight.
And then through your ribs and your chest.
As you keep expanding your chest with each inhale and contracting with each exhale.
Give some love to your chest,
To your lungs,
For helping you breathe,
For keeping you alive.
And then bringing your attention to your right and left shoulder.
Softening and releasing tension from your shoulders now.
Releasing all worry and stress.
Sometimes we hold so much tension in the shoulders which is connected with too much worrying and being scared of future.
So let go now.
Make some space in your shoulders from the front and the back.
Then appreciate your whole back and your spine.
For keeping your posture straight.
For holding you upright.
For all the mobility and so many different movements that you can do thanks to your spine.
Take a deep breath in.
And as you exhale feel this loving energy flowing through the top to the bottom of your spine.
Surrounding all muscles supporting your back.
Let your back be fully relaxed and grounded here.
And then with your inner awareness notice your right and your left arm.
The upper and lower arm.
Both of your hands.
Appreciating your healthy arms now.
Your hands.
For helping you touch and feel so many things.
For helping you grasp,
Write,
Use your phone or laptop.
Give some love to your arms and your hands now.
And then notice the space of your neck,
The back,
The front and both sides of your neck.
As you inhale create more space in the neck area.
And as you exhale just totally release all tension.
Let your neck be resting now.
Give thanks to your neck for helping you move your head in so many different directions.
And then just feel your head,
Feel the heaviness of your head.
Let your mind be clear.
Sometimes we experience headaches and migraines because there is too many thoughts in the head.
There is too much pressure and tension in the mind.
So now just give yourself permission to truly rest.
Make more space in your mind and in your head to just be.
To be empty.
Not think about what you have to do next.
Not plan your day.
Not think what happened today.
Make your head,
Your mind become empty now.
And then relax your facial muscles as well.
Your forehead,
Your cheeks and your jaw.
Unclench your teeth.
Let your facial muscles be soft and resting.
With your eyes gently closed and relax.
Relax the space behind your eyes.
Relax your jaw on the right and left side.
And invite a softer facial expression.
Preparing you for a peaceful night.
Now let's take a full deep breath in.
And a full breath out,
Just totally relaxing.
And a full breath out,
Just totally relaxing your whole body.
Keeping your body still.
Aware of what's going within.
And really just giving yourself permission to truly rest.
Sending appreciation to your whole body.
To your legs.
To your arms.
To your belly.
To your chest.
To your back and your spine.
To your head and your mind.
Gratitude for your eyes to help you see.
For your ears to help you hear.
For your mouth and your tongue to help you taste.
For your throat and your voice to help you speak.
For your nose to help you smell and breathe deeply.
Let your whole body be resting now.
Full of gratitude in every muscle.
Every bone and every cell of your body.
Let your heart be open.
And full of appreciation.
And I invite you now to connect with these affirmations.
You can say them just in your mind or whispering quietly.
Every cell of my body vibrates with gratitude.
I am grateful for all the blessings and abundance in my life.
I am grateful to be exactly as I am today.
I appreciate my body.
I appreciate my health.
I appreciate another day of life on earth.
I am overflowing with joy and happiness.
I am blessed to have people who love and care for me.
I am blessed to have a roof over my head.
And to have food and water each day.
I am blessed to live in a world full of beauty and nature.
I am thankful for myself.
And how strong and powerful I really am.
I am grateful for the air I breathe.
And the ability to breathe deeply and fully.
I am grateful for all the lessons from today.
For all my experiences,
Both positive and negative.
As they are making me stronger and stronger.
I am grateful for love that I give and receive.
Here and now I open my heart to the limitless flow of love.
I love myself just as I am.
And I am grateful for who I am today.
Take a full breath in and a full breath out.
And for the next minute just stay in the state of total gratitude and appreciation for life.
As this energy is lifting your frequency,
Is helping you relax and expand to the space of pure unconditional love.
