Good evening and welcome to this relaxing meditation that will help you release any stress,

Worries and anxieties of the day and prepare you for a peaceful sleep.

This meditation will be also going through our chakras,

The energy centres,

Balancing them,

Releasing any inner tension and coming back to peace and harmony.

Prepare yourself by lying comfortably on your bed,

Adjusting the pillows and the blankets,

Lying on your back if possible and just making yourself as comfortable and cosy as possible.

Slowly and slowly coming back to stillness with your body,

Closing down the eyes if they're not closed already and connecting deeper with your breath,

Inviting deep and conscious breath with each inhale and exhale,

Through the inhales imagine like you're inviting fresh and cleansing energy to your body and through the exhales imagine that all the tension and worries are melting away,

Give it to the earth as you're becoming more and more relaxed here and now.

Notice where does your inhales start and where do they end.

Notice where do your exhales start and where do they end.

Notice if there is any space between the inhales and exhales and then between the exhales and inhales,

Simply noticing without trying to change it,

Nothing is wrong,

Nothing is better or worse,

Just observe your breath flowing through you and now bring your attention to the top of your head.

Imagine like warm and healing energy is starting to flow through your head,

From the top,

Through the back,

Through both sides and then through the front as well,

Massaging your face,

Helping you release any tension from the facial muscles,

From your jaw,

Your cheeks,

Your forehead.

Let this energy flow down through your neck,

The back of your neck,

Both sides of your neck and then the front of your neck,

Relaxing.

Then let this energy move down through your shoulders,

Surrounding your shoulders with warmth,

With light,

Melting all the tension away,

Melting all the fear,

All the worry.

You don't need to hold on to it.

Feel this energy now flowing down through your shoulders,

Your forearms,

The front of your arms,

Your upper arms,

Your forearms,

Your wrists and your fingers.

Making your hands and your whole arms feel heavier and heavier and more connected to the surface underneath you.

Make space for this energy in your chest as you keep breathing deeper and deeper through your ribs and your belly.

Keep expanding your belly when you inhale and relaxing when you exhale,

Healing any tension from this frontal area.

Feel this energy as well through your hips now and down through your groin,

Through the front of your thighs,

Down through your knees,

Your shin bones and your feet.

Your whole legs are relaxing now,

Feeling heavier and heavier,

Yet more and more at ease.

Let this energy flow through the back now of your shoulders,

Your shoulder blades,

Through your upper back as it keeps connecting to the earth,

Your middle back and your lower back.

Feel this warm and loving energy flowing alongside your spine,

Making it more and more relaxed and peaceful.

Release all the tension from the lower back and through your glutes as well,

Softening your glutes muscles and on the back of your thighs,

Back of your knees and your calves as well.

Let this energy flow freely through your whole body now,

From the top to bottom,

From the front through the back.

There is no point of holding to any tension,

Any unnecessary negative thoughts and emotions.

Fully immersed in love,

Fully immersed in peace.

Keep relaxing more and more as we go through our chakra healing process.

Visualize your spine lying on the floor,

Only the spine and not any other part of the body.

Feel as if you are just standing nearby and watching it.

At the very bottom of your spine,

See a stem emerging from the inside.

At the top of this stem,

A flower is forming and around the flower are several leaves,

Beautiful green round leaves with drops of dew glistening on them like pearls.

If you shake the leaves,

The pearls fragment into many small beads.

If you shake them again,

The small beads come together again to form big pearls.

As you shake the leaves,

The water comes together and then disperses and fragments.

The lotus flower at Muladhara,

The root chakra,

Is dark red with four petals.

You are looking at it from the top because the root is underneath the spinal cord,

Which is lying on the floor.

Then at the base of the spine,

In Svadhisthana,

Sacral chakra,

See the vermilion lotus with six petals.

The leaves also have drops of water on them,

Just like those in the root chakra.

You can shake them in the same way as you did in Muladhara and all the water disperses into many pearl-like drops.

The water never touches the petals of the lotus flower,

Though the lotus is rooted in the bottom of the pond and it rises up through the water.

Yet,

Its petals are never wet.

Therefore,

The sages and yogis advise us always to be as detached from everything in the whole universe as the lotus leaf is from the water,

Completely non-attached.

The lotus comes from the water,

It only survives due to the water,

Yet it does not get wet.

The water cannot touch it.

In the same manner,

We all live in the world,

We eat and enjoy and suffer,

We practice sadhana and do many things,

Yet we should be detached from all of this.

Now at Manipura,

The solar plexus chakra,

Behind the navel,

Visualise a 10-petalled yellow lotus.

See the leaves underneath,

Sparkling with pearl-like drops of dew,

Breathing deeply into the space behind the heart,

The Anahata chakra.

See a 12-petalled green lotus.

It also has many leaves underneath,

Covered with many fine drops of dew.

Visualise it.

And then Vishuddhi,

The throat chakra,

Is a 16-petalled blue lotus with many leaves under it and dew drops shining on them like pearls.

At Ajna,

The third eye chakra,

Behind the eyebrow centre,

See a 2-petalled purple lotus with two leaves beneath it,

Covered with dew drops like pearls.

And the radiant full moon is above them,

About 3 inches away.

Above third eye chakra,

At the top back of the head,

Is Bindu.

There you will find the bright full moon.

And if you go still further above the full moon,

Another 3 inches away,

You can see thousand-petalled bright red lotus at Sahasrara,

Crown chakra.

There are so many petals at this chakra and the water droplets are like gleaming corals all around the bottom of them.

Now go to the moon again.

It's so quiet,

Tranquil,

Peaceful and cool.

Turn back to the third eye.

See the dew drops on the leaves of the purple lotus.

Down in the throat centre,

Down through the heart centre,

Lower through the solar plexus centre,

Through sacral chakra and then down to the root chakra,

Muladhara.

As the moonlight strikes them,

The drops of water on the leaves shine like hundreds of jewels.

Some look simple like pearls and the other look like coral.

It depends on your angle of vision.

They are shining like diamonds,

Like nuggets of gold and silver,

Like many moons and stars.

And the flowers are only able to be seen due to the light reflected from those brightly shining jeweled drops.

Again,

Visualise muladhara,

The root chakra with all the leaves and dew drops on them.

Then up through the sacral chakra,

Then solar plexus manipura,

Then heart centre,

The throat chakra,

The third eye and sahasrara at the top of your head,

The crown chakra.

See the thousand petals,

See the leaves with the droplets of water shining like jewels.

Feel the qualities of the different chakras and whatever sensations are emanating from them.

Just one more time scan your body from the top to the bottom,

Noticing and feeling these energy centres within.

Now place your whole physical body on a lotus flower.

Your whole physical body is lying relaxed on the lotus and the flower is merging into your physical body.

As you are simply relaxing in this space,

Notice more harmony and balance coming from within.

Feel yourself connected to oneness,

To the universe,

To pure unconditional love.

As a result of relaxing your physical body,

Your mental,

Emotional and spiritual bodies have become quiet as well,

More tranquil and peaceful.

Yet so fresh,

Rejuvenated and nourished from within.

I invite you in this space to just keep drifting away,

Enjoying the state of pure relaxation,

Letting yourself be guided.

Thank you so much for listening.

I'm wishing you a lovely peaceful night and a restful sleep.

Namaste
